Brother Lorien
A small reminder for all guardsmen. Recently there has been a rise in people using unfamily friendly language on the board and also people dodging the swearfilter. Please review your post before you actually post them and use the :cuss: smily when you need to voice your opinion strongly/show your dissapproval. Keep in mind of how you would want to be spoken to by a stranger. From the rules: No swearing - the B&C has a seriesof perfectly good emoticons available to users to show disapproval, anger and so forth and as this is a family friendly board swearingis neither necessary nor wanted. A word filter is in place to catchoffensive words/phrases and it should be noted that attempts to avoidthe filter by the use of alternate letters/numbers/asterisks/any other means will be deemed a Warning worthy offence as a clear contravention of B&C policy So the reason why dodging the swear filter is warning point worthy is because your actually trying to circumvent a feature/security measure put in place to keep this place a friendly forum.
