Hmm Fists are over done though, Would be nice to get away from yellow.. I may test up and Ultra when i get some time this week, Its not deterring me from 40k though i just got alot of mates into it recently so i gotta keep going with them, And the cost is immense >.<

 

It would be a slow process.

 

For now apart from maybe a 5 man squad here and there, Marines Malevolent will be my main focus.

I feel you on the cost. I feel like some Heresy models would be fun to do, but I'm just not willing to pay FW costs. My current project is the result of already owned models, and EBay bargains. That's not possible with FW.

 

I fear they'll over wolfy-wolf-wolf the Space Wolves just like 40K did though. I'm interested to see what they do with the Ultras. Would love to see those helmets from the CCG artwork done up properly.

How big are the storm shields in the Vanguard Veteran kits compared to the terminator version?  I'm thinking about  buying some to use for variety but I haven't seen any comparison shots of them.

@Veteran Sarg I do fear they will over do the wolfy aspect of them, But then i see some of the models they have made now and they're not very excessive, in my eyes at least.

Thanks Devolver I would appreciate even your opinion on wether or not the shields would work.  I want to use the plastic terminators for a 10 man assault squad I think and either the Cataphractii or Justaerin terminators for the tactical squad.  The way FW has modeled the heresy kits with left handed power weapons and no storm shields aggravates me to no end.

Mikhail i think they would be fine,They are in fact just a little bit smaller, I would have to see it before i can judge to be honest.

Well he is doing the dance of death! I love these new lightning claws in the Vanguards but they're all a bit similar in posing :/ they suit a running marines more which makes sense being vanguard and all..

I need allies! So sick of yellow right now! Not really due to my MM, I helped the local paint they're IF army and ugh.. so many layers, Mine are only the base yellow They did the base 2 layers then highlights..

Sallies are incoming, But not till next month, When funds $$ are a little better, Up to my neck in bills.
