Wow. The freehand is gorgeous but what I like most is the Cool blue highlighting the black. What you have done for your Raven Guard gives them a feel that is so different from run of the mill black. Congratulations.

Your painting is exceptional. I love the deviation away from grey for the highlights, gives them a very futuristic special ops sort of feel. And the free hand is incredible.

 

I would say this though - one thing that bugs me about these is the skin colour of the helmetless marines. Raven Guard are documented as being incredibly pale in skin colour, all with ebony hair and dark eyes. I know it seems like a bit of a minor quibble, but being the fuzzy fluff bunny I am I tend to pick up on such inconsistencies.

I wish this was my army. This is one of our clients army we are a painting studio based in Europ.

The blue highlight was the clients idea and the skin tone was his wish also. It's the second time we did a raven guard army without albino guys. Third time's a charm ?

 

Thank you for the complements i like the Highlight as well it gives them a sort of a night felling. Like ninjas originally they had dark blue clothing and not black.
