Thanks MagicMan it was great fun to make. it was also the first time I've used wire in a build and really enjoyed it. I cant help but think I should get a tube tool or build up the wire with a few more strands.

I can't imagine having the patience to attempt that, though. I'd have enough trouble fiddling around with the first wire, haha.

POWER MAUL/CUSTOM BOLTER UPDATE

 

 

Seeing as I managed to muck up the wire strands, I then replaced it with a power axe wire coil. I also added some etched brass half-ravens 

on the bolter.

 

THE MAUL

I'm not sure on if I should add a etched brass raven on the head of it. Thoughts?

Love the detail on those weapons, brother! I'd slap some brass on the hammer/maul's face. Worked out really well when I tried.

@dragonatz I dont have a set reipe for faces. i just build it up with layers of washes and fleshtones.

Looking good - may I ask what you did for the top of the Raven where the turret was removed? Only I did the same and now I have nowt but a blank sheet of plasticard covering the hole - need some ideas on how I might detail it, please.
