Wow Terimus, that is a sweeeeeeeeet conversion. The dynamism of the pose is truly inspiring and I dare the FW team to copy it. Well done sir!

 

Also, I think it is pretty cool you emailed FW. It's pretty surprising to me that Curze doesn't have a Jump Pack!

So here we are! I'd like to introduce you fellows to the new and improved Sabinus Tarkus, Lord Praetor Captain of the 4th Company Ruthless Lords. He's still being worked on, there's a few things I still need to touch up, but he's on his way! Enjoy!

There he is! He's based off of the Forgeworld Korvydae model, with a lot fo work and green stuff and Night Lords upgrade bits. The old model, as cool as it was, was torn apart to help in the creation of not only the new Sabinus, but is also in the works for building a Librarian and Master of the Signal, so it was a noble sacrifice!

Wow, Kurze looks amazing. 

 

The few alternative sculpts I've seen of him have always had problems, but yours is superb. I love how you've not just built him dynamically, but scary as *hell.*

put my librarian together and got a basecoat on him. As you can see (maybe:tongue.: ) he is using the old Sabinus Tarkus legs and base

I like your other models, but I just can't get over that crazy awesome Primarch. :woot:

They seem good, but the pics are a little out of focus. What phone do you use to take pics with, perhaps I can help by giving you some advice on settings etc. :-)

its one of these pieces of crap haha there's not much I can do to make the pictures better, all the good ones are from borrowed cameras haha

In other news, still working on painting up Sabinus, got a little more done, I should get some more (and better) pics of him finished by tonight. I also need to finish up on my terror squad, I havent been able to think up any good poses for the rest of them, so hopefully an update on them soon too

You know, every time I come back in here and look at it, I think "Nope, FW has their work cut out for them. Fulgrim has *nothing* on this Primarch."

 

I bet I still want a Terimus-pattern Night Haunter even after FW's Kurze drops :happy.:

So there he is! Since the model, as a Raven Guard Shadow Captain, had several little Raven Guard tokens, which I kept on as Trophies of Judgement, so his fluff is that he has a big beef  with the Raven Guard, havent figured out what it is just yet, but I'll get to it haha

Well I dunno about you guys, but I am totally blow away by Forgeworld's Horus, best Horus I have ever seen. I thought about making a Horus in a similar fashion to the way I build Konrad Curze, but I know I wouldnt be able to match the awesomeness of this model

well anyways, back to the savage awesomeness of the Night Lords! made a little progress on my Terror Squad last night (wow, I really need to get my own personal camera that is actually decent haha)

Here's the Headsman (literally, he's got the fulgrim head in hand). He is equipped with a nostraman chainglaive. I took some wings off a night lord helmet and added them to his backpack for that night lordy flare!

I totally agree with you on horus!!!

 

On the headsman front, i'm looking forward to seeing the headsman holding fulgrim's head - in focus. Dude your skillz are beyond dispute and i love your poses, but you've got to get a camera with a macro function. Try putting your settings on "close up", or make an in-focus large shot and then crop the result. Grainy zoom shots are still better than blurry macro shots. Give it a try!

 

I like the idea of the NL wings on the backpack like that, perhaps Ill copy :-) shave 'm down a little where they used to meet the helmet and itll look awesome. Keep up the good work :-)

FINNALLY got some more work done on my mk III Terror Squad, they're coming along quite nicely! be looking out for a lot of Iron Armor and big chainblades coming soon! :wink:

As well, all i need is one pair of legs for my Master of the Signal... why is it always one pair of legs? I'm not the only one who experiences this right? haha

So I've finally finished putting together my Terror Squad!

Sorry Augustus, I tried messing with the settings on my phone, this is the best I can do with the camera I have on hand, but i will be getting a hold of the nice camera again to get some better pics soon, I can only do so much with what I have

This Executioner is obsessed with instilling fear in his victims, and what better way than to inspire terror than to wear the skins of their brothers, a falying knife in hand (you cant really see it, but on his right shoulder pauldron he has a big flap of flayed skin

And my personal favorite of the bunch, this decorated Executioner bears the head of a fallen Iron Hand, one of the victims of his savage Heavy Chainsword

This last guy was fun to make. I cut up and combined a set of widespread and running legs to get this pose, and used the old Sabinus Tarkus arm. His head is one of the Night Lords helms that I took the wings and vox-grill off to make a homemade mk III style helmet, so i can have an extra mk III for later projects.

Yes! These pictures really capture the extensiveness of your work. Well done brother! Im impressed by your green stuff work and conversion skills with the mkIII arms. Ive always found those difficult to pose right and you've pulled it off. Im so happy we can enjoy your skills in perfect clarity ;-)

Oh wow! These terror squad guys look amazing, and they are still bare resin.

 

If you don't mind me asking, I'm curious where the helmet from your executioner is from. Its pretty cool and very unique. 

I'm assuming you mean the Executioner with the different helmet, so If you look at this picture, I took the helmet on the bottom far left (the wings of which I put on Curze's backpack) and then just shaved down the front at angles to give it the Iron Armor feel

Hello again! Man it has been a while! This past 10 days has been action-packed and I havent had time to post or paint at all till now. So I know a lot of you have mentioned that I need to add highlights, so I decided I'd get some more blue paint to try it out, and here is the outcome of the 2 models I tried it on!

Hello again! Good Heavens has
it been a while! But I have had some progress. I've gotten my Terror Squad all painted up besides the bases, I'm nearly done with the Flaymaster, and did a little hacking on the Dark Vengeance powerfist Chosen to turn him into a Pre-heresy Night Lord. I'm working on getting some better pictures soon. Check it out!

Here's the converted Chosen
guy. Still not sure what he'll be played as yet,  but he has a power fist
and converted Archaeotech Pistol. Basically for the pistol I chopped up and
tried to make it look like the pistol Mercy from Darksiders 1 (shown below for
comparison)
