So Ive finally decided to combine every single project thread into one, this thread will contain everything from 40k, The Horus Heresy, The Badab War & even Rogue Trader.

Recently ive been dismayed with the attitudes being put forward on the B&C and the constant negativity, so this is to be a place of exchanging ideas "constructive" criticisms and just all round support for all ideas.

If they're are any negative criticisms just PM me and we can discuss it like adults and keep the arguing out of threads.

I will do all my Amicus Aedes questions in here from Army Lists to Battle reports to peoples own references for parts and paints etc.

okay so this has been on my desk for months un based/painted so here's a WIP Shot of my SoH colour scheme.

so shoot away with constructive thoughts, I still need to wash back the metallic and pick out a bit more detail.

My monitor is showing your SoH colour scheme to be fairly black, same colour as the base - is this right, or do I need to adjust my settings?  Either way, you've picked a nice vibrant shoulder pad and eye colour to stand out!  Excellent choice going for the reaver model too!

the base is just chaos black as is the armour, its still WIP but I cant tell you that the base will be rubble strewn once I do a bit more.

Grab the Vallejo version. Its cheaper and lasts much longer. trust me, i use them like crazy too. I can pm you a list of the wash's i use.

I'd personally prefer a darker red, but these Sons of Horus look good.

Thanks knight of the raven, I'll de darkening up the red with some deep washes soon. Currently out of a lot of paints/materials so ill do another big order.

 

Now I need some feedback on my Reacer Peimus Medicae. I'm thinking of just painting the right arm white with the narthecium and using a standard apothecary shoulder pad keep it red and paint the helix white.

 

Thoughts and ideas?
