Pretty much what she just said. I never even really looked at the wings up until now, but they are really crisp. Very nice work on it.

I will say one thing though, I'm not entirely a fan of the one with the two massive wings on his chest plate... It does look cool... but how exactly his he going to raise his arms? :huh:

I still say preds even with the falchion being released - the super heavies aren't that pretty and press will be more useful in smaller games. Preds for the win!

@noctus- I really ruined the chest piece shaving it back to GS wings on to the blood drop as I was trying to do a mkIV aesthetic.

 

I spilt loctite all over my GS work and destroyed all the progress. So I then decided to just do a quick fix with the wings from the Death company box as I need to have them finished by the 5 th of April as LaCroix & Brother Molokai are meeting up with me to get a heresy group together.

 

He will be replaced in the future and may just join a despoiler squad or get stripped in the future.

 

Your right about the functionality & it irritated me immensely not having any spare bits to fix it at the time.

Easy now, Jasp old chap - the Falchion will still be there next time you place an order, and the predators are still an awesome choice.

in all honesty vazzy I was up all night thinking about it,

my big issue is I want it to look realistic so I still have ages to go.

I just started ADHD medication and the focus  have now is amazing.

im able to work to a higher standard and will hopefully keep improving

I'd get rid of that brass etch if I'm totally honest. You can probably find/make something that's more appropriate and a lot smaller to go there, that almost looks steampunky. That being said, it's a good idea to make one, gots to keep those creative juices flowing!

So after a long weekend up in Brisbane catching up with family I'm finally home with the misses, took the younger brother into the Games workshop at Surfers paradise and helped increase his space wolves.

 

 

 

I've been commissioned to also paint a LotR dwarf army and have stripped back some of the GS on the servo arm and will get back to work on that soon.

 

My next FW order has shipped and after this Saturday I'll begin re stripping some old models.

 

 

@MordentHex- you my good sir are correct I'll keep it functional

 

@BassWave- this Forge lord shall either be the start of some IH and admech allies for my cousin or will be painted as a BA

 

@Knight of the raven- thanks mate I'll need these but most likely won't reveal what it is till it's assembled

 

@Blissfulbrushes- dropped the etched brass and will update soon. Trying to keep a realistic feel just need to find a way to reinforce the arm.
