if you check out some background for the mechanicum, you'll notice different ranks of Tech-priests and magos have different colours, ie head honchos have White, mid-tier have blue, and juniors have red, or something like that.

So I just got my etched brass, have glued it onto the honour guard and will hopefully have it done in the morning before my game with LaCroix.

 

Going out tonight so I won't be able to ensure it's done by tomorrow, I promise happy snaps and a battle report and I was hoping to get a photo of all four of us for the official start but sadly brother Molokai & our fourth comrade are having to work.

Okay so 4 hours till the first official grumpy old bastards game, currently preparing by drinking a coffee and sitting on the couch. Sadly with 2 of the group having to fulfil work commitments it will only be the two of us for the first game.

 

Hopefully once LaCroix and myself get the hang of it I will find my rival within him. As an ex captain of the XIIth legion I find it hard to lay waste to my former brothers.

 

Yet as I build up each legion I find that I am still a raging psychopath at heart.

Don't engage them in melee ?  Just shoot them, they are Tart armour not Cata, so lower save.

So it was a great game yesterday, some nasty little surprises and a lot of stupid decisions from myself such as charging a contemptor with deathshroud, but all in all good intro game and I'm deffinately needing to study up.

Well I think from now on LaCroix will take the photos, I'll just stick to painting and building.

 

Looks like I found an awesome chaos deamon player who can dish out 8000pts of khorne goodness with enough for the big games of apocalypse I want!

 

Now to get myself up to that level alongside LaCroix & Molokai.

 

It was the first HH game played at the local GW and I think we did well

LaCroix knows what I mean, forgetting feel no pain forgetting that Str6 can't harm FA13 and only praetors can take honour guard, so my bad boys will now be absorbed into the rank and file.
