I similarly had to do a lot of converting to get the tracks to fit right.  I think someone was off on there estimates of parts shrinking and expanding during casting and molding procedure. As far as the material, i have found it really does vary greatly from color to the feel of the material itself. Rarely do i have to worry if im buying knock offs as i don't usually get my stuff from FW, but its something I have to think about. I have noticed others comment on this elsewhere too so im not worried about it. So your not alone. Maybe they are modifying their resin recipe again?

I agree, so my plan is for tonight to get some glue finish the opposite track and finish the engine mount and sponsons.

 

Hopefully I'll have it basecoated for Sundays game.

So it's done now it's on to a basecoat and the fun task of painting, but in the meantime I'm rebuilding 10 stripped WE so I'll have 9 tacticals and a missile for the HS squad.

How much trouble did you have with the front end? Mine was an absolute to put together, especially the front wheel brackets.

I speed built mine in 4 hours from delivered to primed in time for a Tournament. I've never had so much rage in my life.
