Thanks Semper & your right I will end up with a force from every legion ;)

I try put my own spin on each legion and I know I'm not the best painter, I just can't stand totally clean marines.

He will be a pyromancer psyker I will do some more GS conversion work but I want to know which legion should he belong to; you have 18 choices ;)

So give me your vote and a reason he should be apart of said legion

My vote is salamanders, 1 because that mk4 just fits real nice, and if he is going to be pyro it just works that much more.

hmmm thought i traded him to you for the start of your red scorpions?

I'll get on to the red scorpions soon, I just ran out of resin and I'm bored with nothing to do so as I have 5 days off I thought stuff it let's try something new.

ahh boredom fair enough i did the same by magnetizing a razorback for my astral claws and playing with my airbrush...

Hehe, almost everybody seems to be using that guy as a HH librarian, but is there a way to order him separately from his guards?

Mikhail- it's good to see you lurking here again :D

I love the idea of returning to the first legion as they were my first love.

 

Excessus- thank you brother ;) I plan on providing more resin for your liking.

 

Cain21- I like it a lot deffinately worth my consideration, I have never really toyed with a sallies army.

 

Arcturus- this may work and inferno isn't far away.

 

LaCroix- I am going out of my mind with nothing to do so I know the feeling.

 

 

Everyone else- keep the ideas coming as I want to make this model a challenge

I vote for making the librarian a Blood Angel. My reason other than collecting them for years before going XIV? I would like to see one in a darker red, more like dried blood instead of the bright "classic" red. And pyromancy fits with the cleansing light of an angel.

 

But you could always make him a Dusk Raider...

0917hrs- gravitational restraints released, drop pod plummets towards the surface of the red planet, electromagnetic fields have no effect on the guidance system.

0920hrs- surface impact, harness release, operation commence.


Kisosen looked around the scene of impact, scattered pieces of industrial scrap and girders of solid cast iron punctured the skyline of the red world.

The Martian civil war was still waging but only the smallest pockets of resistance were left. Most of the mechanicum that were still loyal had fled to terra, knight households titan legions and all operatas merandii of the loyal forces were gone.

Mars was now loyal to the Warmaster, and war was coming to the Sol system.

Kisosen indicated to the IXth legionaries to move into an observational stance. The Blood Angels had been dispatched by The emperors Praetorian to obtain components necessary for the production of the essential MKVII pieces being produced on Terra.

so I've decided to go for a mixture of Terran and Baalite marines, the tribe of the blood & a strong Norther American Indian feel.

References;

Kisosen - "Sun-Bringer", the solar deity, an eagle whose wings opened to create the day, and closed to cause the nighttime

Padôgiyik "Thunders" - seven white-skinned, golden-haired brothers, half-human and half-bird, former inhabitants of Lake Champlain, war-like, thunder and lightning spirits.

The apothecary, Death Guard captain and sculpted fire look good. Sevrin Loth always made me wonder if we'll ever see a legion mkIV librarian set from Forge World. Or any kind of legion librarian set, for that matter.
