At that point I thought I'd join the B&C community so that I can get advise from you more experianced players and not just inspiration, so hello! This is the starting point of my list and I was wondering if you could offer me some advice on how to expand. HQ Praetor - 170 Thunder hammer, cataphractii armour, digital lasers ELITES Cataphractii Terminators (10) - 390 1 w/Thunder hammer & combi bolter, 2 w/Pair of lightning claws, 1 w/Chainfist & CB, 3 w/Powerfist & CB's, 3 w/Power axe & CB's Mortis Contemptor - 185 Two twin linked lascannons TROOPS Tactical Squad (20) - 275 Vexilla, nuncio vox, melta bombs Tactical Squad (20) - 275 Vexilla, nuncio vox, melta bombs Tactical Support Squad (10) - 225 Volkite calivers, melta bombs I was thinking a spartan for the terminators and praetor to cruise around in and from there I'm open to suggestions, thanks guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sevatar Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 your points limit 2000? I think a Spartan is a must to transport your terminators, with almost obligatory Flare Shield and Armoured Ceramite. I would drop your Praetor to a Centurion with Cataphractii as he is cheaper. Alternatively, make him a Primus Medicae, or a Master of Signal etc. However, I would cut some of the fat off the Terminators. Dropping the lightning claws would be good, as they are overpriced in my opinion. I would also reduce it down to say, 7/8 models. You will save ~100 points. Assuming you implement my changes (lol) you will have : Centurion - 100 Power Fist, cataphractii armour, ELITES Cataphractii Terminators (7) - 280 1 w/Thunder hammer & combi bolter, , 1 w/Chainfist & CB, 3 w/Powerfist & CB's, 3 w/Power axe & CB's Mortis Contemptor - 185 Two twin linked lascannons 2 Rapier Battery - 110 Laser Destroyer Apothecary Detachment - 45 (attached to a tactical squad) TROOPS Tactical Squad (20) - 275 Vexilla, nuncio vox, melta bombs Tactical Squad (20) - 275 Vexilla, nuncio vox, melta bombs Tactical Support Squad (10) - 225 Volkite calivers, melta bombs HEAVY SUPPORT Whirlwind Scorpius - 115 Land Raider Spartan - 340 Flare Shield Armoured Ceramite Medusa siege mortar - 155 Hope this helps.
