EDIT: you have crossed the 50kpts of completions!!! Last year the DAs won with 60kpts. Let's see... I smell a new record!

Thanks so much for the kind words daemonclaw and Captain Semper! They really mean a lot to me and help my motivation.

 

@ Semper: Actually I'd love to have a dreadclaw, but there are some other things on my to-paint-list first which are already waiting in my cupboard while the dreadclaw is still waiting to be ordered. So... maybe next ETL?

My vow is complete!

 

Be'lakor (all hail!) took three times longer to paint than the rest of this vow. Too funny.

I can see why - lovely!

 

I've nearly finished the Grave Wardens and Deathshroud: just need their final wash and tiny bits of tidying. 

 

Then, next batch of twenty Cataphractii. I think that these'll be slightly easier - I just desperately need a particular colour for the pteurges and can't yet get to GW...

That's a day I can't wait for. On holiday from today, so although busy, it'd be nice to smash through this.

 

And I never will want to see another Terminator again after this batch.

Well you could always send these to me, you know to remove them from your sight and all.

Just found out I'll be returning a day later than I thought.  Painting will resume in the afternoon on Friday, the 18th.  At which point I'll have a little under two weeks to complete my vow, and celebrate my victory over the unctuous forte.

I love them, they look like something out of a comic book or a painting (and tope theyhat is a complement, believe me). They look like they would be a load of fun to play with.

I hope they will be fun to play. I haven't managed to get any games in 7th Ed yet, as I live in a country where, so far, I haven't found any other 40Kers.

I'm going back to the UK on holiday in a couple of weeks and will see if the new psychic phase makes my army more viable than they were previously!
