It's not a Golden Daemon-style competition. This is the B&C, we want to see the community interacting in a very constructive way and the frater to benefit from the collective experience and wisdom of the boards. There is nothing holding you back - your skill will only improve through parctice...

This is really impressive stuff Nicodemus - very inspring! I'm sorry for not having the flexibility to allow for Soulis & Co to play along... Maybe next year I'll have the proper infrastrucutre... Congratulations and we hope to see some more of your stuff before ETL III is over!

Then I suggest you stop looking at Scion pictures - the more you see them the chance you will buy a box approaches 1 They look great, I'm sure the dice gods will look on approvingly when they hit the table.

The significantly diminished pile of IG kits awaiting me is another great aspect of the ETL

Hereby securing another hefty 1045 pts to our ranks!

However, it comes with a drawback. I've got the opportunity to ride a roman cavalry show in Caen to replace one of the normal riders that got injured. this also means i won't be painting that much anymore. Herefor I can for now only add a small vow.

The leman russ emplacements stand will be used, given that i've made the turret interchangeable and the emplacement apperently has no rules anymore...

The Stormblade looks great, I especially like the blue on the main cannon :D Great that you're making another vow too, you've made a significant contribution to the war effort (though I wouldn't call it a small vow!). Cut down a few Gauls for me before you get back to painting ;)

Well, a Land Raider doesn't come close in armament really to anything the IG has. Maybe two Leman Russ Annihilators smashed together would equal the armament of a Land Raider. I think it's too much of a stretch so I won't even ask. And unfortunately the retinue is close-combat oriented so Crusaders and Death Cult Assassins are what I have left and their wargear doesn't come close to veterans. If it was a shooty henchman squad maybe, but alas, I'll just have to suck it up, get this stuff done as quick as possible, and return to ETL. I have a 1/2 assembled Leman Russ Vanquisher Command Tank with a Commissar standing in the hatch calling my name.

Which reminds me, since commissars don't come from the same planet as their charges, ATTENTION WARRIORFISH -- what planet are your troops from? Seems fitting to me if my tank commissar is from that world in gratitude for your close following and support of my Astronomi-con PLOG (and your tank fetish). Maybe he'll even name his command tank Warriorfish. I think you will like the fluff I have already written for him.

Excellent, thank you. I read your One For All blurb on the regiment, but my search of the forum turned up nothing on the world itself. Do you have any?

It's sort of something that has coalesced in various forms over the years and isn't fully hammered out. If you'd like you can send me a PM about what you'd like to know and I'll do my best to answer it one way or another, also prevents cluttering the strategium up with stuff people aren't interested in :P

 

For more appropriate musings my order arrived with some stuff in today! Full marks to Element Games for their debut order. I hope to use it for my 3rd vow but we'll see what the Emperor has planned for me. It included a Scions box as a gift... the temptation to rip it open was strong :lol:

It's the 'Tactical Auto-Reliquary of Tiberius', an Heirloom of Conquest (snazzy bit of AM warlord gear) worth 25pts. I would be adding to the quad-melta command squad's officer.

 

 

My modified vow would be:

Company command squad, 4x plasma gun, officer w/ 2x plasma pistol. 150pts.

Company command squad: 4x flamer, officer with bolt pistol, laurels of command, blade of conquest. 131pts.

Company command squad: 4x melta gun, officer with blade of conquest and tactical auto-reliquary of Tiberius. 150pts.

One triple mortar heavy weapon squad. 60pts.

Infantry squad one: grenade launcher, auto-cannon. 65pts.

Infantry squad two: grenade launcher, missile launcher. 70pts.

Standard bearer.

Vox carrier.
