Don't worry, My vow is going slow as well. I had to basically completely relearn how to paint my metallic purple for my EC's :) Take your time and don't rush so that your happy with your end results and you don't have to strip and paint it again in the future. :)

Think that's the points for a single box standard dread. Not got access to the book right now to check. 3 of them should be a fair number of points extra.

oh, you are totally right! I just added the weapon options to the base cost of 1 dread, it should be 420 for the talon. So that's another 250pts, bringing my total to

 

3505 points.

 

Please change that, Cpt. Semper :)

Does anyone have any ideas of what to incorporate on my praetor with the big wings? Are there any good capes or anything?

 

I would love to try and model some robes flapping around his armor, but I feel I would botch the GS.

Love it! So photos tonight for an update!

Waiting on an arm for my vexillia but 20 are ready for final details. 10 are halfway so my tacs are progressing.

 

Heavy support squad just need their sgt built and the praetor MoS and siege breaker are all on my desk.

Started to plug away at my vow, I plan to paint my 20 man blob in batches of 5 up to 100% here is the first guy:

Man! I had that same idea for my mkiii's, painting the overlapped armor a different, utilitarian color! Nice job!
