The forces of Chaos gather

So I did some checking and I've got a LOT more projects on my shelf and that I've posted about here that would fall under the category of "Can go into a Chaos army".  With that point firmly in mind I'm going to do 2 things. First I'm going to include a list of the various projects I have previously posted about that would fall into the 'Can go into a Chaos Army" category. Second thing I'm going to do is try and consolidate everything from here on out, Chaos wise into this one thread. We'll see how well it goes:
 
So, here's the list of other projects:
 
1) I bring the blessings of the Plague father! (linked to my blog)
- I painted the Forge World Mamon daemon prince figure and applied some interesting effects to it.
2) The perfect Space Wolves Insult

- What's the best way to get a Space Wolf to do something? Tell them that Inquisitor So&so does not want him to do something. How do you make a Space Wolf Angry? Here's how I did it.
 3) My Anubis style Thousand Sons Daemon Prince

- Yeah, I had an idea to do a Daemon Styled after Anubis.

 4) Converting Shou Khan into a Greater Daemon of Khorne

- Come on, you remember fighting Shou Khan in Mortal Kombat 2 and screaming at how fragging brutal he was! Well, I decided to make him into a Blood Thirster.

 5) Egyptian Themed Mauler fiend and Forge Fiends

- Yeah... Egyptian themed fiends. What else is there to say?

 6) Converted HelBrute from Dark Vengengance

- I'm not actually sure about this, but I think this was the first converted Helbrute following the release of the Dark Vengance box set that wasn't a gun barrel swap. If anyone actually knows weather or not this is the case, please speak up.
 
So partially in conjunction with my effort to re-write the Codex: Chaos Space marines, I've begun assembling a Chaos Force partially with Models I already have, and otherwise with new additions. I'm going for a very diverse, many separate groups answering to the lord sort of army over a single unified legion sort of army. What am I talking about? Well it's not going to be a Night Lords Army, or a Thousand Sons army, or a World Eaters army or an Iron Warriors army, though all of them will be represented in the army. Basically I'm building one or two units from each of the legions, notable war bands and chaos Factions.
 
I can't remember where it was I first saw the idea for heavy weapon teams to count as Obliterator, but I liked it and I remembered it so I ran with it and here they are!

I'm still waiting for the Iron Warrior shoulder pads to come in. So there's that little hiccup. But over all here are my Three Obliterators. I had the shields in my Bitz box, but I'm reasonable certain they are from the Forge World Bording marines set. If someone knows better, please pipe up. Those represent the Invul save. I also magnetized the feet of the standing marines so I remove them from the base. Originally I had done this to make it easier to paint but then I realized it works as a wound counter as well.

I haven't really decided what the next unit I'm going to work on is. I have the materials for several units. And I have a couple side projects that are worth while as Chaos Units.
 
My Servitor Enslaved Space Wolves lead by a Dark adeptus adept that count as Thousand Sons. Yes I'm using Space Wolf models to represent Thousand Sons. Just let that sink in for a minute.... You can see the work log here.

I can't remember where it was I first saw the idea for heavy weapon teams to count as Obliterator

 

In all likelihood it was Brother Heinrich, the man inspires many, and asks for little (if anything) in return. 

 

Your chaos warband seems to be progressing nicely, and your lobotomized, servitorized space marines is a refreshingly heretical idea.  

 

Think we'll be seeing updates on your other projects anytime soon (like your storm talon modification) or are you under the influence of darker powers for the time being?

Your chaos warband seems to be progressing nicely, and your lobotomized, servitorized space marines is a refreshingly heretical idea.

Will I ever get back to the Storm Talon video? Yes. Can I tell you exactly when? I'm afraid not right now. I've got a lot of my plate with the Codex Revamp, my Chaos Army, I've got an Apoc game I'm hosting in a couple weeks.... actually in 11 days, I'm looking for a regular job, preparing for my father to go in for open heart surgery, yeah the list goes on. Oh and on top of it all, I'm ADHD like you won't believe. Just look at my blog to see how much I change projects. I do eventually finish them though.

Think that's where it first transpired. IWs work well with the Breacher shields, and sweet, sweet tears for the TS Space Wolves. Can't wait to see the WE/Khorne inspired productions.

Just to give an idea of the sheer volume of other projects on my work bench, not to mention the depths to which my ADHD runs.... squirrel!

Each one of those labeled boxes contains materials for a different Project.

 

Now I'm sure you're saying "eh there's only 5 or 6 boxes. That's not so much."

 

And you would be correct. However, I only said those boxes contain materials for various projects. Not that those boxes represent all of my current projects. Discounting the Apocalypse game I'm running in a couple weeks and the family situation of my dad going in for open heart surgery at the end of the month, and getting a friend out a really bad relationship here's some teasers for other projects I have on my work bench that will eventually be talked about in this log:

And these are just the projects that I'm working on that would go into a Chaos Army. I've got a Scratch Built Squigoth on my shelf, UltraMarine terminators, a ShadowSword, My Blood Raven Centurions, A scratch Built Thunderbolt model, A Grey Knight Dreadknight... yeah this list keeps going. Needless to say, I get distracted by cool ideas, a lot. So bear with me.
