Imperial Fists Legion WIP Thread

I'm starting a 30k force of Imperial Fists, and this will be the blog i'll be posting my progress in.

 

The goal is a force of primarily infantry models, with minimal vehicles in the force.  I feel the Imperial Fists tactics achieve this best, making their forces all have BS 5 bolter-firing weapons, and giving anything with a shield +1 toughness when in coherency with other models with shields.

 

so here's the first unit that i've built.  it still needs some more work, but its painted enough to let you know what legion they are:

Hmm. The models look like a good start but could use a wash of Delvan Mud to add depth.
