Pre-Heresy Alpha Legion Commander Conversion

Hi guys,

I just wanted to share the latest commission I've been working on at Big Dog Miniatures. The client wanted a conversion of a pre heresy Alpha Legion commander he could use to represent Armillus Dynat. He was quite clear that he wanted him in older Mark IV style armour and to wield a thunder hammer and power sword.

 

The basis of the mini was the 2008 Games Day Space Marine Commander and obviously theres been quite a bit of green stuff work added to him.

 

I'm still trying to improve my sculpting so any constructive comments, critique or feedback would be appreciated.

Fantastic, especially on the chest plate. I want to do something similar on my Alpha Legion Praetor.
