So, have folks been sending in their FAQ requests on these issues to the Gamefaqs@gwplc.com  address?  I'm a little surprised that they haven't published anything yet, given that we've been out for a couple months now, and there are several points to address.

I looked to see if it was addressed and so far I have not, I could have missed it now but just to be sure here it is. In IA2E If you take more then 1 Relic you need a Rune Priest with the correct Saga I believe, well now that we no longer do Sagas do you just need a Rune Priest for More then 1 Relic or how would that be handled ?

So, done a quick CTRL+F and haven't seen this addressed. Wolf Priest's Oath of War, worse than Zealot because it doesn't affect the unit? If so, we effectively trade the bonuses of Zealot for Balms, is this correct or have I misread/missed something about how the rule works?

Oath of War does effect the unit. It gives the Wolf Priest preferred Enemy vs 1 type of unit, and under preferred enemy rule it states that as long as least 1 model in the unit has it, all models in the unit have it.

Alright, thanks. Kinda seems silly I didn't check that and was reading it wrong. Didn't have my big rulebook right next to me and the friends I sent a text to didn't have a definitive answer. Woops, anyway cheers thanks again.

Can take a SS and Axe on terminators though tongue.png

and then replace the axe you just bought for chain fist to bring back everyone's favorite lone wolf. Or is that interpretation too WAACish?

Is that legal?

Edit: Technically I suppose it could be, but it is definitely violated Rules as Intended.

RAW, you can. An RAI argument against could be made, but you could also say there has been an option previous that worked similarly with a point boost on the stormbolter exchange and that this must only be a misunderstanding brought on by the new format and not a different intent. Intent is vague, but I'd like to hear what others think.

I think the SW errata sorts this issue out.

base termie = SB + power weapon

with the errata you can replace the SB with power axe or frost axe.

The termie can then replace power weapon with chainfist as per codex

leaving you with axe + chainfist

I think the point was to make a SS and chainfist Lone Wolf.  Starting from the SB + PW, make a SB + SS, then swap the SB for a power axe + SS, then swap the power axe for a chainfist.  That seems suspect to me.

But we could do dual frost axe terminators.  They'd look badass...
