Jolemai
Many of the first founding chapters took on the characteristics of their primarch. For example, Blood Angels are blond and many have long, flowing locks of hair. However, I have yet to see anything regarding the Thousand Sons. What is your rank and file marine said to look like? Have any of their characters been described bar Magnus? Just curious really. Zeratil
Well a good proportion of the Terran born Thousand Sons were from the Achaemenid Empire, which is supposed to have been situated around the borders of the first Achaemenid Empire (aka the first Persian Empire) so Ahriman and many of his brothers come from the rough area encompassing Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Iraq, Armenia. Libya etc. I'm not sure there's been any real description of the natives of Prospero though. Relict
Spot on the Terrans. Remember, people from that geographical region have a wide array of phenotypes rather than just the "dark hair, olive skin" stereotype. You can have a redheaded, pale-skinned Terran Legionary of the XVth and he would still fit in. Zeratil
Agreed Relict, 28,000 years is a long time for people to move around a technologically advanced planet. Further to the above as far as I am aware there is nothing in the Thousand Sons geneseed that leads to any distinguishing features, nor any legion cultural aesthetic relating to personal appearance. Sons are all about awesome hats though. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/295228-thousand-sons-descriptions/#findComment-3778998 Share on other sites
Komrk
When it comes to 30k marines, if you don't know what they look like, make them bald and tan.
