Actually, the Templars of DOOooom like to call him "Ragnar Underbite", but not to his face. That seldom ends well.   He's still in progress, I have some detailing to do to find that nice mix between Space Wolf and Khorne Nutter, but he's built.  And yes, loyalists... this is Heresy in the greatest degree.... well, not as great as Tzeentchian Grey Knights or Slaaneshi Dark Angels.... but its pretty bad. And it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.  But, wait.... there's more....

(author's note: 4/25/17: this army plog will be Nurgle only from this point forward. I have evil plans for the rest... more on that later.)

 

For the Nurgly Guard army: I'm really not sure what this guy is going to be, but I'm thinking a Vox Creep of sorts or who knows... but he looks cool so far.

I haven't forgotten about this army, I'm just working on some Emperor loving loyalists.  I have made a couple decisions though, the Khorne/SpaceWolf contingent is just going to end up being a Khorne contingent and will get its own thread when I get to it.  But my Nurgly Guard guys still need some allies, right?  So, I'm going to make a Dark Mechanicus contingent. This lovely lady is the first acquisition for that little force.

The Dark Mechanicus have arrived... from France.  I managed to break off the vials around her head and replaced it with a Chaos star.  Still noodling out just what I'm going to do with her.  I'll likely mount that base on a 40mm base and go a bit nuts there with the tentacle maker and such. She needs to be a but scary, but still oddly....creepily sexy.

This thread isn't dead, its just been sleeping. 

 

I'm getting ready to overhaul my hobby/art room and ran across some of my "creeps" I was working on. I've been scheming on how to make the infantry elements of the Guard army useable as cultists or guard infantry.  One plan is to make a couple modular heavy weapons teams. Little bases that will fit ont he big base as a team or can be used individually. Enter the gun creep.  Heavy Stubber as a cultist or heavy bolter for the weapons team. Plus ...he's cute.

 

 

And a second one in the works.....

 

 

I've been agonizing what to do with my Nurgle Blight Knights. After the Warpsmith I made for the Templars of DOOooom, I decided those guys would make great leaders and or specialists. So here's the beginnings of a Commisar.

 

 

I'll be sculpting a forearm and I still need to 40k him up a bit, but there's the start.

Thanks, guys!  There'll be more creeps and other gribblies. I'm actually getting ready to tear my hobby room apart this weekend, so I should get an idea of what I've got overall for the army. Lots of rank and file coming that will most likely double as chaos cultists/guardsmen..... and possibly genestealer cultists.  We'll see how it all plays out. Tons of rank and file to build and I'm betting there will be an aftermarket purchase or two for them as well.
