Adeptus-Alaska
Nice love the Armour colour what's your recipe? Thanks! It was done using multiple silvers, dark silver basecoat and a bright silver from above. Then washed Nuln Oil and then Cassandora Yellow :) That's genius actually. AmyS
Hello everyone, this weekend I painted up my Blood Angels Sternguard Veteran Squad. I am super happy with them, especially the Sergeant's face which I am especially pleased with. What do you think? :) http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/bloodangelssternguardamysnuggs.jpg
Flint13
I'd be proud of Grim Dark Sean Connery too. Those flesh and beard tones look perfect. Great job!

Brother Talon
@appiah5 ...and left, and right, stutter step left, flair, aaaaand pose for dramatic effect finish! -crowd erupts into applause after a few moments, before being purged.- Hmph, true Imperial forces would've cheered immediately. Amy, love symmetry of the squad! What truly seals the deal is the action in the poses... as if they just broke through an enemy without so much as a sweat, and are immediately forming up and scanning ahead for the next big target. Everyone facing where their weapon is pointed, visibly tense and alert.. love it. While clean (sorry personal bias), I can't hold that against you... these guys look like they can pull it off. Would love to see you do some gritty, filthy models that look bored, or pissed... as if to say "What... that's it?!?" Would no doubt look awesome. Firepower
Superb work. The cracklin'-earth-paint bases seem like an easy out for someone with your skill, though. ;)
AmyS
Here are four single Blood Angels models I painted over the last few weeks. I'm very happy with the outcome on all of them. I'm pretty much finished my Blood Angels army of stuff, although I have a Storm Raven and a Predator to paint at some point soon. I'd love to know what you think :) http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/DSCF3676.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/DSCF3678.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/DSCF3680%201.jpg http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/Dezartfox/DSCF3690.jpg
Firepower
Not bad at all, but the filthy witch's blue armor could really use a bit more depth, or another highlight. It's all pretty monotone right now, and a very bright shade of blue. The issue stands out most around the cowl and gorget, where there are a lot of changes in depth and protrusions, but almost a uniform shade of blue. That niggling aside, good work. :)
Flint13
Ah, Firepower beat me to it. Every other blue you have done is crazy pretty. The librarian seems like he just needs an itty bit more depth to his cerulean though. ^_^ That being said, I am in love with the way you do black to blue power weapons. Keep up the great work!
