Marshal Rohr
Is there a list somewhere or are we just naming thing we think should go in the hall of victories? Fire Golem
I think they were just saying things they think should be in there, but they were very good suggestions. depthcharge12
A bottle of Johnny blue If it 'twas the last bottle in existence, he must have fought all of Ireland to get it. It would be a hell of a fight too. Erin go bragh!!! It would be a hell of a fight too. Erin go bragh!!! DC12, surely you'd agree there must of course be the last gleaming silver can with the faded words 'natural light' on the side. It would included as an example of ancient alchemical cognitive aides students used during their years at institutions of higher learning. Recovered in the endless swamps of southern Merica, at the base of a large statue of some form of ugly canine. It's the reason why the Emperor forgot how to build things for so many years was because he was too busy shotgunning cans of natty light. Some good did come out of the venerable fraternity house where he learned the basics of forming the Adeptus Astartes through indoctrination of the younger members and erasing past memories with fizzy chemicals. Hesh Kadesh
The AK47 would be a strong contender as well as the cure for cancer/HIV/common cold. Completely misread that as you saying that the AK47 would be the cure for cancer. Completely misread that as you saying that the AK47 would be the cure for cancer. In some regards it is. Just has the side effect of death. Daemon2027
=][= Keep it 30k-centric, and on topic, please. =][= Compliance I guess there would be every major type of armour from chainmail through to full plate, all the way to Thunder Armour and maybe a suit of each mark from then onwards. apologist
I'm not sure about that – my interpretation is that it's things that become iconic to the human psyche: one-off inventions rather than the gradual improvements. For example, while a bow might be included, it'd be an iconic bow like a Mongolian recurved bow or Welsh longbow (which did something unique and entered mythology) rather then a rack of every sort of bow ever made. If you think of armour, you might get (say) a Hoplite's shield or a set of mediaeval plate; not a room full of every type of armour. That's just my interpretation, though. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301719-the-hall-of-victories-minor-spoilers-for-deliverance-lost/page/2/#findComment-3917976 Share on other sites
Daemon2027
I suppose the hall of victories is just for artefacts that changed the course of human history. The Emperor, or more likley the Sigilite, will have their own personal armouries, galleries, and library's as well. Theredknight
The wheel, the first transistor radio, the worlds first nautical navigation device, or 'flyer 1' which the wright brothers first used in test flights, plaque from auschwitz maybe? Remembering the evil in man? These should/could be there. For fun, a bust of Ben stiller, a copy of ace ventura and a rubics cube Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301719-the-hall-of-victories-minor-spoilers-for-deliverance-lost/page/2/#findComment-3918272 Share on other sites

awfulawful
Culturally significant? A yo-yo, a smartphone, and a Baywatch poster (original cast, obviously). Machine God
Similar to the code of Hummurabi and the manga carta, there must be a copy of the napoleonic code. This forbade privileges based on birth and specified that goverment jobs should go,to the most worthy, among other things. It was the the document that replaced feudal laws, not just in Europe but also, influenced the USA and China among other countries. The Manga Carta - Is this the Comic Book version of the 12th Century document? I'd go for the Bayeux Tapestry.
