Skrall
Hi folks. Some of you will have seen my work in the past. I use to produce small commission forces or converted vehicles on a small scale. However I didn't take well to infantry. After a long drawn out process i found it just didn't suit my skill or interests and so I've adopted a more specialist approach.I am, for the foreseeable future, only taking commissions which are largely or only armoured vehicles. Tank warfare on a massive scale. I've got a long standing addiction to tanks as my project zoica will verify. Since it interests me, gives me my tank fix and earns me a little bit of money to fund my three projects for the year (30k, Orks and a project i am keeping close to my chest until i have it all together) I can't see how i can go wrong. The first or the two armies on the books for this year are Krieg tanks. The client has sent me pre-assembled tanks he wanted doing in a particular style and so i've done my best to render them in said fashion. So let us begin the interesting part; the first two tanks that landed me the job.http://i.imgur.com/pOL6n7A.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/OlZ55hv.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/SPd0xLm.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/bkfXUn5.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/mDY9kAa.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/6pJBn9O.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/D3vKLoX.jpgI have quite a few more to paint in quite a short time but i think this work is in keeping with the krieg theme. If anyone has any feedback i'm always glad to hear it.As to why i am doing all this, i have started to assembled a 30k solar auxillia army to ally with my iron warriors (hence corpse grinders tag), as a result i need to fund said army. This is why i'm painting tanks en mass. I'm still hoping someone will hire me to do legion tanks but we'll see what the year holds.-skrall Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/301896-the-one-man-manufactorum-tanks-en-mass/ Share on other sites
helterskelter
Oh yes. These will do nicely. (Un)fortunately i suffer from a family affliction of treadheadism and enjoy painting my own tanks, but whoever has you doing their stuff is a smart man indeed. Blackadder
Nice paintwork here I particularly like the scale mud. The distressing is not overly done as is usually the case.
