Captain Rex
The Xth legion have always been my favourite since the 2nd edition so after getting the Horus Heresy books 1-3 and reading about the Isstvan V in book 2 Massacre my love for the Xth came flooding back. So I'm starting with the troops first and first up is Veteran Sergeant Varn Next up Veteran Sergeant Tavok The bases aren't done as I'm waiting for my 32mm bases to arrive ( 80 of them in total ) There are more troops primmed and waiting to get a bit of paint on them. Any C&C's are more than welcome Scaly Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302990-iron-hands-clan-vurgaan/ Share on other sites

StruManChu
These look really, really good... Love your use of weathering powders, and you've got a great mix of colours with the bronze, red and green. I will be watching closely... Captain Rex
Well I didn't get the Immortal finished but I did get to finish off Tactical Squad Varn and my unnamed Iron Father ( suggestions are needed ) but I'm still waiting for my 32mm bases to be delivered from GW. So here is Tactical Squad Varn = Iron Father = Im hoping to finish off the Immortals and start on the second Tactical Squad this weekend as long as I'm not called into work. Im trying to figure out what to add next apart from the big man himself Ferrus ( any help on this would be grateful ) All C&C's are more than welcome and thanks for looking. lionofjudah
Scaly- really dig the greens of the coils and lenses. Looking forward to seeing your Ferrus:) 2 tac squad and immortals- ok - are you goin to give the 10 man squad a transport? If not I'd make their numbers bigger and give them an apothecary with a chainsaw and big wrenches to fix all the bionics on the field. Speaking of that- perhaps a contemptor or 2 with some big guns and then perhaps a venerator for tank busting. I like the idea of the esoteric weapons requiring ritual and mechanical detailing to go with the legions who do that stuff...iron Xth and some mechanicum allies. Perhaps a castellex or 3 with darkfire cannons???!!! Scaly- really dig the greens of the coils and lenses.
