Hiya folks

Fell in love with Raven Guard after the Index Astartes article over 10 years ago. Had been collecting up plastic Mk. 6. Then 3 years ago today, I swallowed a chicken bone. Thats another story (which you can read here if your interested: http://pleasebringdaddyhome.com/ )

With the help of some awesome people, I'm slowly getting back into modelling.

This first post is more of a 'collection of things I have' than the start of any true progress blog.

Trying to make a post Istvan force, so everything will be Mk 6 or earlier. Laurie Goulding once said there is around 3000 RG after Istvan. I say challenge accepted

Nice to see more have the heresy bug.

 

In terms of armour marks, just want to point out, that mk6, while more common for the XIXth after Istavaan and the Raptors, older marks were still in use. Mk5 pattern and stopgap measures undertaken to repair armour were common.

 

Also, if you wish, normal boxes of tactical marines come with enough parts to make 5 Mk6 or earlier marines. ish. Need to be smart withthe parts of course but its possible. Thats if you dont want to buy the FW stuff.
