Not a massive update this weekend as too much real life and lager!

Ive base coated and washed the interior. It now all needs picking out and highlighting

Ive settled on a head for the pilot.

I think it has the look of angry experience! what do you think?

Arrrrgh!! Ive not updated this in so long Ive dropped onto page 2! Whats going on....?

So tonight has been airbrush night.

Mainly silver, green and an assortment of yellows.

Tomorrow is seal it, wash it and then highlights.

Im not sure if I should put a green stripe on the main shell though ?

There is more shade on the shell but the flash is washing it out

Thanks guys

More air brush blending madness has taken place.... mental note, blend before striping!

I had to hand highlight the stripes and it has a difference in colour to the carapace but once the handles are in hopefully it will look better and less bright. Ive also got to weather it so that should knock it back a bit

Pads about done.

Its all coming together now (couldnt resist putting it together for a quick shot)

Tiny bit more progress. Had a busy weekend so didnt do much

Pads finished they just need a seal to matt them down.

Front body plate and scroll done, just need to add text.... Im thinking "Punish" to go with the skulls

Ive started work on the head now. Ive just dropped a magnet in the skull so waiting for the putty to go off

There is a magnet in there

Thanks

im still working on this although we have just been away for a week so nothing got done.

Ive nearly done the gun arm so by my reckoning I have

Gun arm to finish, chainsword arm to start and finish, exhausts to complete, face and mask to complete and then the carapace handles

This might be a bit tight!

Progress update

Ive almost finished the flamer arm

I did a bit of a heat stain but still have all of the highlights to do

It really is, we'll need to keep our completion shots far apart so mine don't look as bad by comparison... :laugh.:

Itll be fine... Im rushing it now

I think if I can get everything painted I can detail it properly later. I think it will be missing a pilot though :(
