stepper Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Welcome brothers,After much considiration and some major bribes towards my wife, i've finally started a 30k project.Choosing what legion to start was the hardest part, that was until forgeworld unveiled Alexis Pollux.I always wanted an Imperial Fists force, but never quite started one. The yellow was to big a scare, however after years of painting and becoming a Dad i've learned the virtue of patience.In this log i'll show the progress of my Praetorians.Last weekend my first order arrived and i'm now in the process of cleaning, scrubbing and assembling astartes.Below are the first pictures of this grand aventure ^^Alexis PolluxTemplar BrethrenRest of the squadStill have a lot to do as you can see ^^After the assembly i have one more hard choice to make, do i go for clean marines (like my unforgiven) or the battledamaged look?As always c&c appreciated.Cheers,Stepper Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

infyrana Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Noo, battle damaged always gives them more personal character depth and realism over the shiny showcase model with colours not realistic to the nature of weathering! :P Thanks for the break down of Polux, I've been keeping my eye on this model, really want to get him but only for a breacher ZM list :) Looking forward to the future of this thread...!
