[Commission] Preheresy Fists.

Hi everyone. Here is my latest work some Imperial Fists done on commission. That much yellow was actually a lot of fun to do as was the tinted red canopy. 

 

And I made a small cheap lightbox from a cardboard box and white tissue paper. It has made taking pictures so much easier cannot recommend making one enough.

 

Now back to my own Iron Warriors to wash the smell of loyalty off.

Very nice! Did you use Humbrol clear red for the cockpit canopy or something else? It's a very vibrant look and it looks very uniform. Airbrush? On the inside, outside, or both?

It's tamiya clear red airbrushed in several thin layers on the inside.

Sweet. I might need to pick some up. Do you thin it at all or shoot it straight?

It was thinned with Tamiya thinners. I never shoot a paint straight even prethinned ones like VMA

Lovely shade of yellow, very vibrant. I am in love with that storm eagle, so much attention to detail and it's always fun to see something different than my own battered Fists.

You pulled of the more clean look very nicely

Agreed. Lovely looking Fists. Not an easy colour to work with. Great job all round I'm sure the client/commisioner will be very happy with them.

Nice stuff. I'm not a fan of the regular Fists transfer icon, I think the FW ones look way better. And it would be cool to see a bit more colour in the power cabling of that Venator rather than just dark silver. But those are just matters of taste, good work overall.
