Great stuff.  May I ask how you do your bases please?

 

Sorry for the late answer , The bases are pretty simple actually

I use sand and cork bits , then i paint it with earth (game air) then and ivy (VMA) and then dry brush terminatus stone (GW)

Your red is so gorgeous. Similarlly, purple blood drop on the Stormhawk, just lovely.

The Honour Guard are brilliant (excluding the head crests, but that's personal modelling preference on my part). The wide range of bits is cool to see. White as a spot colour is gloriously executed.

Love the Honour Guard - I think they strike the right balance between ornate and practical. The gold and white really help add contrast to the deep red you've used.

Brother Corbulo is finally finished 

Had a grate time working on this modell I was Inspired by Tommie Soule work on his Ragnar Blackmane , to make a old model in a new take using existing plastic kits , and I think it turned out quite nice.

Making the blood in his chalice was a fun new challenge as well , so hope you like him // Chris
