5 landspeeders with chem heavy flamers and gravitons

That sounds brutal, if a bit too minded, I suppose the grav will help against Hordes too but if you're going for high AV then the HF are wasted, no? Plus gets hot on a 2Hp vehicle? Ouch.

I know this squad isn't fast attack, but a rendition of it could be done in the FA slot with outriders. I've recently been running a praetor with command squad on bikes. It looks something like this:

Praetor

- Iron Halo

- Paragon Blade

- Bike

- Rad grenades

- RoW: The Reaping

Command Squad

- 1 additional member

- 3 power weapons

- powerfist

- bikes

Depending on how I'm feeling and the list I'm running, I'll throw in melta bombs or combat shields. It has been glorious so far. Move through cover and rad grenades from the reaping are magical. I could see a toned down outrider squad like this being useful. Especially with melta bombs.

Brothers, I have a question and I don't know where else to post it. My thinking here is that I'd rather have the question posited to my sort of people. Yes, I am being a Legionist :laugh.:.

Does our rule, Chem-munitions, also effect our tanks? I'm thinking about buying a Deimos Infernus Predator if I can get the rule upgrade.

Mortarions buffs to missiles... Worth it? It would affect havoc launchers too I would imagine

It does, doesn't it? I thought it specifically mentioned them.

I'm at two minds on it. On the one hand, it makes you more reliable against massed T5 like Mechanicum, but they resist poison and you're probably better off just firing krack...

If they were poison 3+ it'd be much cooler.

Flat roll to wound, if strength is higher, original to wound roll gets to reroll failures.

I'm a bit lost too.

Re-rolling failures with higher strength is only for Poisoned weapons in assault.

I skipped 6th too so I'm not sure if Poisoned shooting used to get the reroll as well or what.

^ This.

In 6th edition, you got a re-roll if your poisoned strength equalled or exceeded the enemy toughness.

In 7th, your strength has to exceed toughness and is constrained to melee weapons.

Well dang, that sucks.

I just don't see the point on poison4+ when you're going to be fragging wounding on a 4+ anyway against other Marines, and tougher stuff will usually warrant a Krak missile (bikes) or be a bit resistant to poison (Mechanicum). Then you're frag will wound weaker stuff on 3+!

Damnit

Fluffiest FA for Death Guard? Voss Pattern Lightning with Rad Missiles and Phosphex bombs. It's everything we love, it drops chemical death from above, and coupled with Phosphex Medusas (and Phosphex Leviathans if you so choose) turns the enemy's zone into a literal hell. You could quickly transform their deployment zone into an inescapable fire pit.
I think apocalypse games will be where you get tons of milage out of Death Guard. Cramped spaces, distances is irrelevant ans cover abuse by SA makes them the sons of Barbarus idea to deal with them.

So Uhh... Because I shouldn't be allowed money I got a DG contemptor on eBay. Auto cannon and combat weapon arm (sadly on its left).

Taking the AC out of the equation, what's a good way for us to run these guys? They're pretty fluffy.

I am now sort of realising I shouldve put the money towards a leviathan but... SPONTENIETY YAY.
