I have finally assembled the final parts of my pledge, pre-paint pics of my herald of Khorne and Possessed are now in my original pledge post.

Well, got 1/3 of my vow completed..... marathon, over night run on the Chaos Rhino.... Funny how you notice more mistakes in the crappy pics taken by a crappy camera, than when you are in process. Keep seeing mold lines that I thought I had gotten rid of, and some highlight lines that are off..... Still, for a painter with severe nerve damage, I am fairly happy with the results. Not gonna win any awards but they'll look ok on the table ;)

Barring a couple of bits of detailing, first five Chosen are done, I'll post them later. That just leaves five Chosen, the Sorcerer and most of a Brass Scorpion to do. Two weeks maybe? Next weekend is going to see minimal work done, goddamn MCM Expo getting in the way and forcing me to do too much work and not get enough sleep. Vaguely planning vow 2, thinking of stripping and repainting a bunch of Berserkers as The Harvest for when I use the Daemonkin codex.

Sorry guys, no SOUL VOW thread yet. I've been building, prepping and priming my two Rapiers, building my Nurgle Biker lord for this vow, and preparing for my second vow through assembling my third Predator Annihilator and building a squad of five spawn from the Gal Vorbak kit. I couldn't paint, as a buddy had to use my airbrush tonight, but I made a helluva lot of progress on this and the following vow. Also, the SOUL VOW thread will have to wait until tomorrow morning. For now, goodnight. :tu:

So how long until you think they'll release a chaos warlord, because wouldn't that be something for this competition.... I really want to buy the imperial one and chaos it up as soon as I can but I have to tell myself to wait haha.

Wooly, thank you..... I thought I had enough of the books and oath banners left in my bitz box for the second one, but  having to track some more down now. In the past I have bought them as bit sets from Hoard o Bitz, but they are out atm. I think they are from the Dark Angels Vet upgrade pack but not positive. I could pick one up but hate to do that and be wrong.... Does anyone here know for sure which kit they are from?

Return home after the really great Warhammer World open day yesterday.  There was so many epic & cool hobby, really need to go there & see for your selfs all the cool stuff.

I'm going to be spending today building up my unit of Terminators & getting the base all done for the classic Metal Chaos Dreadnought.  It just the arms & part for my Lord I'm waiting on.

Great to see progress here in the Eye! A lot of activity, chaos and mayhem! :D Keep in mind though:

 

As we enter Week 3 we come face-to-face Week 3 Blues! That means that there is a sharp drop in new recruits before it speeds up again in Week 4. Now if you can maintain the flow of new recruits and avoid the blues you'll be in a much better position once Week 4 hits! Keep this in mind!

It is a painting event where you essentially vow to paint legal units of your preferred faction to the correct points of said units. At the finish line each faction adds up its total points and the one with most points win.

PM me for a more in-depth analysis. There is a lot of depth! biggrin.png

Looks like a nice haul there IP..... What in the blessed name of the warp is that book in the second pic? The one with Calgar (Gods curse his soul) about to get pummeled on the cover?

I already have stuff lined up for a second vow...It's just taking me longer to complete the first vow than I thought it would. I did some more greenstuff work on the Helknight/Defi... Letting it dry now so I can sand it, hoping it turns out ok....

The book is a campaign book base/inspired on a really, really, really cool diorama that Warhammer World, give background, mission & formation & most all ton's of photos of the cool diorama to look that.  Pretty much spent time looking that the photos of the diorama on my way back home.  Just started reading the background inbetween building models & it been pretty cool.

So far - I start building models about 10.30am....... only have one complete Terminator.  Though a second one is being converted.  If I can get the third one finish before 4pm that'll be great.  Then the base for my Dreadnought will be easy & only take a few moment.  Then I'd like to try get some Dark Mechanicus models built as well.

Just struggle a bit due to travel side.  Left Friday 7am - 2pm, then Saturday 3.17pm-9.30pm.

 

But if I can get the Terminators that least finish.  Champion going to wait until my FW order arrive.
