What is going on with the HH forum? :o I literally dread of coming here to update the front page... But update it I did.

1x Primus Medicae in Terminator Armor (Firedrake with minor conversions)

2x 20 man Breacher Marine squads.

1x 10 man Pyroclast squad

1x 8 man Firedrake Squad

2x Contemptor Dreadnought with dual Kheres Assault Cannon

1x Contemptor Dreadnought with dual Lascannon

2x Contemptor Dreadnought with dual CCW's

2x Armored Rhino

1x Relic Spartan Assault Tank

1x Sicarian Venator Tank Destroyer

1x Sicarian Battle Tank (converting it into a Venator, if possible, if not ordering another Venator, lol)

Wait a min – wear the badge till year end? I’ve been wearing last year’s Oathbreaker badge until now? *sigh* Maybe there's an intrinsic relationship between fulfilling the vow and understanding the rules. Or maybe not.

Today, almost eight thousand points were pledged. An impressive follow-up to yesterday, I must say. The total for the AoD forum is 39,259 points so far (again, not including vows that haven't specified points cost). Hat's off to you, loyalists and rebels. cool.png

Allright boys great progress, I know kizzdougs is already powering through so I'll match his out put once im home.

 

Just had a Castellax and a achillies alpha arrive alongside my bodies for my new sons of horus praetor.

 

Now to do my famous over the top obsessive painting emersement where the misses won't see me as I'll be a mad lunatic in the back room

@Scion of Ferris- two of the wolves were painted in the past. They've been soaked in simple green and scrubbed as clean as I can get them(you can still see some brown in the lead wolfs tail and right rear leg). They will all be primed black prior to painting so I'd hardly call it cheating, however I'm more than willing to let CPT Semper make the call as to their legality. (assuming of course your post was serious and not just smack talk :) )

Don't the rules specifically say you are allowed models with an undercoat or the very early stages of painting? Let's have a look:

Evidence of progress

Only two pictures are required for each vow – one in the beginning (minis unpainted or primed or in very early stages of painting) and one for the finished vow. You are of course welcome to post as many pictures as you like in your WIP thread (or your Strategium thread) – but just two (one at the start and one at the finish) will suffice! Please make sure that all the models of each vow get a “before” and “after” picture, either individually or as a group.

So I've been over on heresy 30k trying to drum up support, now here's just some advice I dropped over there so once again I'll drop it here;

 

Awesome guys were currently in the lead and with the most hobbyists participating yet it's all to do with vow completion percentage so as its early days still another 3 months to finish I'm hoping we get some early completions we can get our percentage up.

Let's see some WIP people

Last year I used the ETL to get the core of my infantry done.  They have served me well in the past year.  This ETL I'm going to use to motivate me to get the big stuff done!

 

So here we go again!

 

I, Brother Sanvael of the XIVth Legion take up the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete;

  • 10 Gravewardens, 3 chain fists, heavy flamer - 400 points
  • Legion Fellblade - 525 points

 

For a total of 925 points, on or before August 1st, 2015. 

Should I fail, I'll wear the badge of the Oathbreaker for the year to come.

 

This is but the first vow.  The sons of the reaper are renowned for their endurance and more shall follow.

Death to the tyrant emperor!

 

 

(Basecoat done this weekend before I remembered the ETL and the before shot.)
