Success will bring eternal glory to the regiment and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end.

Don't worry comrades, I how all about press ganging it's something you learn as an urchin on the dark streets of Portsmouth. Hmm, not sure how it applies online though? Semper I'm assuming I should quote people and tell them they're painting for the Guard now? Seems like a fair way of doing it to to me.

 

Right, someone tell me which faction has the most members and I'll go impress some. What's that I see? You've taken the Emperor's shilling? Well then looks like you're coming with me... :lol:

After a busy weekend of doing stuff that wasn't painting, I managed to sit down today and complete the Macharius! Oil paints and weathering powders finished it off, very pleased with the end result. :)

With that portion of my vow completed, I then moved onto the Eradicator. I got some of the new Citadel Base brushes, and massively recommend them. The XL one especially is just amazing, the shape really lends itself to painting tanks, as you can quickly cover large areas, or paint small recesses with the same brush. Just a little tidying up on this base coat before it gets glossed for the rest of the paintjob:

Thanks for the recommendation on the GW brush. Was on the fence about getting the large base brush for painting my Knights.

An excellent model Coffee, especially next to the Eradicator where you can really see the difference all the weathering makes. Great to see libris coming in with a solid vow too, let's keep up the pace comrades! :D

Not much progress from me this weekend unfortunately, having to repaint the skin on my bullgryn as it doesn't match my previous ogryn.

Also question to the commissars could we get a banner to show who we're vowing for in the ETL? I think the HH lot have one?

Wow that macharius is fantastic, really love the design of that tank but cannot justify the cost.
