Look forward for your vow vampyrerodent, as the Commissar above said, ALL vows are welcome irrespective of size. So take your time to sort it out and revert with whatever you feel like vowing (provided it's a legal, unpainted unit).

GUARDSMEN ARE THERE ANY MORE HEROES AMONGST YOU?

Very impressive work everyone.

So many super heavy tanks! :

UltraRich, I love your commissar Yarrick, and your commissar too, Toxic.

By my favourite so far has to be the redcoats, WarriorFish. :tu:

Thanks Kier, the Ratlings are eager to return to battle once more in their new colours :D We're doing well with the quality of work, I'm very pleased with the levels of effort and work being displayed. All we need to do is keep it up and get in lots of painting, the more vows the better! :tu:

Out of interest will it be % of number of vows completed or % points value of total vows pledged. They could have widely differing knock on effects.

If it's number of vows them what we're doing is right. If it's value then doing large pledge first that will be completed is better then a few smaller pledges pushing it would be better.

Update on the Eradicator, she's ready for oil paints and weathering powders to finish. Should be done by this weekend, then I'll be gunning to get the Destroyer Tank Hunter finished. :)

@ SW1: Completion ratio is defined as POINTS COMPLETED / POINTS PLEDGED. The idea is that if you want to pledge big vows you are not only assuming the risk of personal failure but also the risk of harming your faction! On the other hand if you  deliver you'll be a hero of unprecedented proportions!

Hate when that happens! It always seems like it's right in the middle of a major building project, too. Luckily, there seem to be a few Ratlings in this thread that may be able to secure you more, for a small fee . . . ph34r.png

Mine seems to last forever. Getting a new glue always seems like a special occasion for it :P Good progress, I'm keen to see it finished and makes me want to do my Knight! Once the painting competitions are over I'm sure I'll find the time for it :)

Progress Report

The Errant is almost ready for a peep show as his exoskeleton is just about finished. All that's left are the pistons, heat sinks on the Thermal Cannon and exhausts, the eyes, and painting his toes. He's going to look fabulous happy.png!

About the Destroyer Tank Hunter, did you purchase this recently from Forge World? If so, did it come with the new Leman Russ chassis or the old one?

It wasn't a recent purchase, I got it from a friend who had it in cold storage in a cupboard for a good few years. I can't really comment on what chassis it's provided with now, but the center body of the hull is all Forge World resin, so it's only the track assemblies which I got already assembled which might differ.

Anyway, powering through the ETL, finishing the Eradicator last night after a slightly late one. With that sorted, I'm aiming to get the Destroyer Tank Hunter finished before I head off to Comicon next weekend, then after that I'll be tackling the mighty Baneblade! Excited and worried about how big a task it'll be. Painting that chassis alone will be a headache.

Good progress everybody! Keep going! It must be a comforting feeling that now you have the AdMech to rely on, but don't you want the Guard to remain the leading force of the IFOR? Right now you're second... mellow.png

P.S. Terrific work Cofffee... :tu:

I'll try and keep up the pace. Completing this vow should be a healthy addition to the Guard total. I've already planned out Vow 2, I've got a lot of light vehicles and such to commit, but we'll cross that bridge when it comes to it. :P
