Rage - Stunning free hand work, and an amazing effect all told. Brilliant job.

Nevidar - I look forward to more indeed.

Lion - Brilliant Deredeo, love the oily streaks.

Jeremy - you keep churning out great work. Are your Ravens finished now?

That is encouraging Kor'Vesh.

Speaking of, time to stop wasting time browsing the 'net and build me some tanks! First one is more or less completed just need touchups. Second one will go smoother, hopefully I've learned from all the mistakes now ^^.

First box of terminators completed, two more to go. Hopefully I'll finish all the termies before monday.

From lef to right: terminator squad, centurion, termie with 1st Co banner. Bases made with cork and volcanic sand.

This months second pledge is completed. No time left for a third, so Sicanan and Malcador will come next month. Using the rest of this month to work on some other side projects.

@Jeremy...looking great mate...how big a stash of minis DO you have lol...that must be a monster collection :-)

@lion of judah....thats looking sweet mate...drilled out missiles and helmet stripe for the win ;-)

Be great to see that bugger painted!

@nevindar...for a moment i thought you might have been making an iron warriors armoured bunker rhino...will wait to see how this progresses :-)

@rage of khorne.....wow...just wow...the thought and technique that has gone into that is stunning...top work mate! Very impressive And a real centrepiece :-)

@Robocaster...that is a fantastic paintjob on the spartan! Great weathering without going overboard...cracking work this month...

@Kor'Vesh... Glad all going well on the job front...but hows things going on the painting front? Reckon you will finish the sicaran over the bank holiday?

With a week left i am debating wether to add a dreadnought... Will give that some thought..

Top work again guys...so much talent :-)

Mortis - the Sicaran is fully highlighted, and I've done my "gold" stripes on the black panels now, and painted the nocturnean glyphs. I just have the legion, company and cadre markings to add, and the flames to layer. I'm away all weekend, but will hopefully sneak enough hours to finish the work on Monday, and then build by contemptor over the last week, ready for June.

Jeremy - any chance of a group picture of all of your raven guard for the Hall of victors thread? I bet they look an impressive sight, and I'd love to see it. Great job on those fists too!

Noigrim - good job sir. They look great en mass and the whole company will be pretty imposing and unique! Keep it up!

Looking great guys, fantastic work all around! I especially like the freehand on your storm eagle Rage of Khorne, just fantastic! msn-wink.gif

Work is progressing steadily on both my ETL vow and my casual pledge, although I might run out of Sally green color for my airbrush soon unsure.png

I finished the rapier battery (although I only pledged the crew, the gun itself was already painted) and painting on the Phobos should start soon.

Anyway, here are some pics.

Looks like third party stuff from... damn. I can't remember. One of the bits makers based in Poland, I think. I got a razorback turret with twin-assault cannons from them once, I believe I recognise the style.

Edit - Puppetswar maybe?

Yup, it´s from Puppetswar. They have some great stuff and while i did had a few problems with them sending the wrong stuff, they where really fast with sending replacement. Really nice and quick customer service too. happy.png

I´m building a small force of would-be Tallarns using their Desert Trooper minis, but after learning that Tallarns wore bulky hazmat suits that look nothing like the robes and headwraps that we know and love them for before the Iron Warriors sacked the planet, I´m not sure what to do. I should probably have read a bit more lore on 30k Tallarn before starting. tongue.png

Anyone know if the Tallarns recovered fast enough to take part in the rest of the War after their "little" fight with the Iron Warriors?

Don't know bout the Tallarns and IWs but I finished my eddy this eve

Also ordered 80 32mm resin blank bases to redo all my marines....and build up for future dudes in this army. I don't like doing my own bases which is why Ive been getting Secret Weapon bases for so long but the size difference does make them 'bigger'. That and Ive really enjoyed seeing all the custom urban rubble bases on here and figure...why not, ill give it a go:)

richmarine: nice job. yet again someone makes me want to buy a spartan. curse you! ^^

chaplain mortis: there might have been some inspiration from Angel Exterminatus in the beginning of my army in general. Not for the Rhinos though, no Iron Warrior mobile bunker-rhinos here. Only a firm iron hand to the face ;)

I really had no problem with the kit. Only thing I would do differently is paint the inside teeth of the tracks before assembly.

So richmarine, what you're saying is that I should definitely order a Spartan for my birthday? ^^

So close to finish painting my HS Volkiteofdeathraydoom marines now. The Centurion needs a primer coat and rhino 1 needs like 10 minutes of construction and rhino 2 needs... an hour or so + greenstuff drying time! woo!

Posted in the ETL thread, but since I pledged it here, too, need to add it. So, I finished up my Predators today:

Once those Alpha Legion transfers release, I'll get those and do a tad more, but until then I'm more than satisfied.

And with that, that brings Vow One to completion!

Here is the entire group together, and I'm so glad they're done, finally! Gotten more hobby work done in the past month than I did in the previous six.
