I should really leave him be but seeing two similar poses in the squad is gnawing at me. Well, with one left to go I pressed on despite this realization. Time to build my strike leader, Perceval. What I was going to do was recreate this old bean that I made years ago and sold off. A simple build. That's all I saw aside from nostalgia. I wanted something a bit more "harder than nails" leading the defenders of Badab from the clutches of evil. I wanted a more knightly figure and I think I pulled it off quite well if I can toot my own horn. Then I realized I used the same legs I used on my Corien kit bash...but I got the pose right with this guy. I have yet to order my servitors but they chould be coming along soon. So now to move on to my achilles heel, painting. I am debating if I will prime my minis black or just that Army painter platemail primer/base. I haven't really had a lot of hobby time due to children and work but I did manage to get an apoc game in with my red scorpions a few weeks ago against nids . It was a massacre I killed everything except his bio Titan that thing was unkillable it just ploughed through my army . Kill tallies work well for guys who like to remember their conquests and worthy foes! Also drew some different axes on some guys to symbolize conflicts. Might assemble another assault marine and one more tactical to fill that razorback up. Then I may do a Sternguard to give me that option for my Killteam later on. I have slowed down on my project but I have made some good progress today. Added some sand to the base, primed the minis, and added a bit of paint & wash to them.
