Here is my entire Executioners army I painted this past month! I totaled it up just not 5 minutes ago, comes out to ~2400 points!!! My vote would go for Executioners purely due to the piece of background in the Badab books that mentioned the two chapters clashing occasionally and almost seeming to enjoy the tear up between themselves too much! I can't remember the exact words but it was something along those lines. I imagine both chapters unofficially agreeing to not use firearms and just smashing each other to bits with axes, hammers, blades and fists! While the Lamenters are indeed an appropriate choice, their colours might not stand out to well against the sandy base. Given that the Astral Claws and Executioners both have a very metallic scheme, I wasn't convinced that it'd be obvious which one the helmet belonged to. Should I do both sides or leave it as it is? On a side note, while painting this I realized that my color scheme looks really similar to the original one it appeared in.. There is a little metal thing on the back part of his shoulderpad, so freehanding stuff may not look nice. I guess I'll try to do the scripture on the other panel and see how it looks, I'm just worried that it'll look like a huge mess of biege and brown from a distance.
