I must say I do like your Obliterators too, the stock models are so gack but with a lttle gentle persuasion they can look pretty good. Great paint job as ever Liking your display board too.

The Obliterators are horid to paint as well as model. But happy with the conversions to get them on the table.

Just catch up with the updated Uverons & there all looking really cool.  The Soul Grinder really suit the Knight mask & the display booard really cool.

​How are you find the Renegades?  I will need to try & add few more units to my own Chaos Guards, like the Death Korp Rough Rider models & few more tanks in the future.

 

You'll need to try get a photo of the whole force, IW, Rengade, etc.. be pretty cool to see the whole lot together.

QUICK UPDATE!

Started work on my Minotaur.. I have some additional black-washes that I normal do not do on my tanks but I think its because the model is just so much bigger that I expected.

Bellow are the pictures of my Finished Renegade Minotaur Artillery Tank, I may touch it up again in the future and I want to add some pigments when I get some more Pigment fixer.. but that will be next year when I get a new Job... (Whenever that happens!)

I have realised that with everything going on with the Harbingers that I havent been commenting much on this thread... So here I go.

Oh yes, its also easyer to make without holes! I used a cheep base which was the biggest mistake, but I think I may add a wooden frame to it eventualy to make it into a part of a gaming table!

Thanks for the comment IP! Yes I do need a group photo. It may happen one day, probably once I move again as its in lots of box's at the moment and not very accessible. Downside of living in a small house after a year or two in a big one.. we will see what the future holds.

Not by a long shot. But I could do with a bigger paycheck (mostly as at the start of the year when I was ~75% bigger than it is today!) but we will see depends on how things play out.

8^th Edd Update Time!

Well it’s been almost 6 months since my last update on this thread. I was kind of caught up with my Imperials, but with the new edition I thought it time I dust off my Iron Warriors and get them to the table. I have started digging through my competed models working out what units I have, and I am going to work out a few 100 power level lists over the next few weeks and try and get my army’s together. Based on that. If I can have a few army’s ready to grab and go. (I probably will start a thead in the chaos sub-forums soon that talks to the game play of them). Well on the WIP front, last week I finished off a unit of Havocs with Heavy Bolters (See photos below).

Next up will be some nurgle marines. I have been sitting on some of the old 2^nd ed plague marines for a long time, I used to have a plague marine army ‘back in the day’. I have stripped them all and was preparing to start a new army, but then I looked at the size difference between them and the new models in the DI box. Have to do some thinking…

In the meantime I will start work on the Plague Drone, and poxwalkers. I also got these guys built last night! (who will also be joining the forces of Nurgle)

Also, got this Foetid Bloat-drone finished, I decided to paint it like my nurgle knight, going for a much corroded Iron Warriors look. Still debating how much the Plague marines will take this look when I paint those guys…

My Glorious Return!

After Over 6 months of all but disappearing from the forum, I am making a return. Working in a new office that doesn’t block the site, and actually working on 40k stuff again (Though not my chaos armies see my Signature for hints)

But on reviewing this thread I noticed that I was missing a few updates, and recently my wife got me a photo-background kit that I have been playing with. Now I will be making a thread in the halls of honor section of the site soon, but I thought I would share some of the best photos (Mostly for the people who subscribe to the thread).

I will slowly be working though my collection in next few months. I have a New Kid due to arrive within the next few weeks so will have an extended period off work, and despite the work a baby causes you do end up siting at home with nothing to do alot. So going to try and get a good portion of my collection organised so more. Partly to record what I have with photos, and partly to see if I have anything I want to sell, for funds for my new collection.

So 8th Edition in many ways was the end of the Black Crusade, due to a number of reasons I lost motivation to play 40k. I tried to regain some enthusiasm by playing Orks but a few bad games had me running off to play Age of Sigma again. That lasted till I discovered Titanicus and my life has been all about that for the last year and a bit. (I even have my own podcast on the subject) That all said Iam looking at 9th edd hopefully, I have been selling off some of my 40k collection but I do plan on returning to the game once I have found something I want to collect. (My adventures with Titanicus can be found here)

Now.. I thought i worth sharing the photos of my Bloodthirster I made for my AOS army, but said army may soon become a Chaos Daemon force.
