Beluga 61, a INQ28 campaign

Recommended Posts

This is the slow start on a new round of INQ28 for me but this time I'm aiming for gaming as well :)

First warband will be of an Info-Executioner from the Logi order and his henchmen. Here's the very early WiP of Shizmu the Info-Executioner himself.

The Pariah Gene is an aberrant mutation of the human genetic code which results in the existence of beings colloquially known as Pariahs, outcasts of society.

Is it wrong to be so pleased with such a small miniature with only the simplest kitbash and conversion? I just really feel I captured the character bound to be with a being blessed or maybe mostly cursed with the pariah gene. Valuable yes but not accepted. The build is an old BB Elf as base, metal culexus head with new lense and new hands from the sicarian sprues.

Another cool idea with that pariah. I think that's a very effective conversion. Sometimes less is more, so nothing wrong at all with being so pleased with a simple conversion. Is the Pariah Gene something from the Inquisitor rulebook, a Black Library novel, or is it your own home-brew fluff?

I sure hope you will post some battle reports when the warband is done and you have someone to fight with.

Cheers and I totally agree that sometimes less is indeed more :)

This is a campaign style plog and I do hope I get to post up some more narrative batreps eventually. Just need to recruit some opponents but it looks promising :) I'm also making terrain for this but I couldn't quite see if that's something you post here.

Today I'll let you behold my very first and inferior truescale tech-marine build. The idea is that he's apprenticed to Shizmu and basically a heavy gunner.

These guys look great!

also @Nicodemus: The Pariah gene is a genetic mutation in humanity originally created by the necrons before their long sleep as a way to create the precursors for Pariahs, soldiers made from human stock that have no soul. As such they are anathema to warp creatures and psykers and give everyone else the serious heebie jeebies. Those who are not taken by the necrons are known as blanks and the more militantly predisposed of these are eventually developed into Culexus assassins. (This is according to the older necron fluff, which has neither been reconfirmed nor denied since the removal of Pariahs from that codex).
