Remember, remember, the 7th november.

Heretics, traitors, and war.

How about:

"Remember, remember, the 7th November.

Heresy and treachery wrought.

I can think of no reason,

Why the Calth treason,

Should ever be forgot."

"Remember, remember the 7th of November,

the Warmaster's treacherous Plot

I can think of No reason

Why the Warmaster's treason

Should ever be Forgot "

This is better and more true to the original

I think no matter what happens with the rules, this will be a good thing for the heresy Community. Not many of us can go to a GW and expect finding a pick up game of 30k, but now that GW will start producing plastic kits, in store. The chances of that go up dramatically. For me, finding opponents to play against is the biggest hurdle to overcome.

Do i want GW to touch the rules? No. But if it means giving me more outlets to use the army I've spent thousands of dollars on and spents hundreds of hours and love to create, then I am enthusiastically for it. At the end of the day, if they do take over the rules and feth them up, there is nothing stopping your gaming group from using the Forgeworld Age of Darkness rules instead.

I'd rather have more players and a sub par set of rules, than great rules and no one to play against.

Yeah I can understand that. Though I do envy those of you with the ability to still play pickup games. Maybe the people in your area are just that cool, but man, I can't do it anymore. I see the kind of armies and people that lurk around and play 40k pick-up games out here and I have approximately zero desire to engage in a several hour+ game with them. The only thing that keeps me in the game side is the handful of guys that I game with in garages/living rooms that have been carefully vetted and have proved that they can be chill, drink beer, swear like sailors, and generally act like normal people.

I've had way too many encounters with Mr. Rule Lawyer, Mr. Touchy-Feely, and Mr. "Let me tell you the saga of my squad sergeant..."

But OT I do agree that access to heresy in a "mainstream" venue like a GW store will hopefully be a positive force and quiet some of the negative opinions about Forgeworld and 30k.
