if It said failed to hit rolls and failed to wound rolls of 1 I might agree with you.

 

As it stands as a single line - you reroll failed to hit/wound rolls when you roll a 1. Reading it the way you are is specifically trying to find a loop hole to your advantage.

 

This is the first time I have ever heard of someone ever trying to claim this!

Confused about the discussion.

 

Preferred enemy lets you reroll 1s to wound/hit against your preferred enemy, so it would take effect only when resolving attacks against that enemy.
