Ooooh! Shots fired!

Some amazing examples there folk. There's a lot of Breacher fans out there. Thought we were a minority but it seems like we might outnumber the Martian Death Ray Fan Club.

Now that's just HERESY!

It just goes to show how often I check by, I missed these last time I perused the thread. I'm sure we can get on just fine, brothers. ;)

Strapped to his backpack, with a close combat blade for when he cannot use the hammer.

If you have the Space Wolves kit, use the double handed axe arms, ad swap out the axehead, for the hammer head, that might work too.

Alternatively, the MArine Captain with jump pack, (Lord Executioner I think) has a 2 handed pose, might be able to get the arms from a bits site. Again swapping axe for hammer.

Sweet, someone else is buying those shields. :biggrin.:

Yeah, I was pretty excited when I saw he had done different legion/chapter ones as well as the blanks.  I need to bug him to do a set with Warhounds markings sometime here in the near future.

That would be a good idea, but then where is the Breacher shield?

I think that might be a bit big of a hammer to model one-handed on someone else than a primarch. Two-handed would work better, with the shield in the back. Or a smaller shield strapped to the forearm of the off-hand.

There's also the guy on the left here who's active swing looks pretty good, with the advantage that a raised hammer will be more visible in your army too.

Grey Knight 2hand weapons are great for this as well, there are plenty of left arms that don't have the wrist mounted stormbolters on em that work for bashing them together, and they can result in far more interesting poses than the DC or SW ones in my opinion.
