Scherdy
Best set of tutorials I've seen out there. The Painting Buddha guys provide this for free on youtube where DVD of tutorials of only part of what these guys provide and not as nicely produced are $30-50 USD. Share and Enjoy these with anyone wanting to improve their painting game. Ultramarine Painting Tutorial Playlist - Armor, glazing, weathering, helmet, Object Source Lighting, True Metallic Metals, blending...they do a great job of teaching all of these things and more videos are being released. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0_grDypO1do9GpvxHcZ17SyXvVFL4fYC Please consider checking out their patreon site as well to keep them producing this type of tutorial! Anvilarium
I actually prefer the tutorial that Mat Kane has put up for free on his Blog:http://m-k-painting-studio.blogspot.co.uk/2015/12/ultramarines-painting-guide.html This recipe is a refinement of the one he used when he was working at Forgeworld. DistroyA
@CplHicks: Yeah, that's a wet pallete. As for painting ability, I'm sure you'll be able to pull that off. :-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317346-painting-ultramarine-tutorial-glazing-blending/#findComment-4320833 Share on other sites

Dosjetka
The best I could find is in this thread: http://heresy30k.invisionzone.com/topic/6333-joining-the-blue-brotherhood/?tab=comments#comment-140274 You might be able to piece the recipe together. Alternatively, you could contact @Tyrannicide and see if he copied the recipe down for use on his own Ultramarines back when he was working on that project. I tried using the Wayback Machine but no luck. :( Paland 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317346-painting-ultramarine-tutorial-glazing-blending/#findComment-4949967 Share on other sites
