Did you know both TNT & the Atom bomb were made in the interests of peace? I think the inventer of TNT even got a Nobel Peace Prize because people at the time thought that TNT would bring an end to war... citing the fact that people would have to be crazy to be waging war with the concentration of potential destructiveness held in a single stick of dynamite.... Flash forward a hundred years or so, and we see that we wage war almost exclusively with high explosives like this...
