BLACK BLΠFLY
Note this list has been revised below. Here's my latest list which was developed around the original core 1500 point army. Basically I've beefed up the terminator squad and added a mortar team. The army has done well during play testing. Just a few more terminators to build and then I can start painting. +++ Imperial Fists (2217) +++ ++ Legiones Astartes: Crusade Army List (Onslaught) ++ Templar Theme + HQ (385) + Sigismund (230) - Master of the Legion /Warlord Legion Centurion (155) - Consul: Primus Medicae Tartaros Terminator Armour - Solarite Power Gauntlet (MC) - Teleportation Transponder - Vigil Pattern Storm Shield - Narthecium - Needle Pistol (P, R) + Troops (625) + Templar Brethren - 7x Templar Brethren 7x Combat Shield - Nuncio-vox - 2x Plasma Pistol Chapter Champion - Solarite Power Gauntlet Land Raider Phobos - Armoured Ceramite - Dozer Blade - Extra Armour + Elites (807) + Legion Apothecary (65) Artificer Armour - Combi-Melta - Narcthecium Legion Quad Launcher Support Battery (225) 3x Legion Rapier Incendiary Shell - Shatter Shell Legion Terminator Squad (517) - Cataphractii Terminator Armour 9x Legion Terminators 3x Chainfist - Pair of Lightning Claws - x Power Fist - 2x Thunderhammer Combi-Melta - Iliastus Pattern Assault Cannon - Plasma Blaster 4x Vigil Pattern Storm Shield Teleportation Transponder Legion Terminator Sergeant - Chainfist - Vigil Pattern Storm Shield + Heavy Support (400) + Leviathan Siege Dreadnought Armoured Ceramite - Grav-Flux Bombard - Phosphex Discharger - 2x Twin-linked Volkite Caliver Legion Dreadnought Drop Pod Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/321529-imperial-fists-2250/ Share on other sites
Unknown Legionnaire
Perhaps you should point out that the list is using the alternative Onslaught FOC. Not many people play alternative FOC, nor can they be used in any mission. Most tournament will ask you to build a list according to AoD FoC as well. So, why don't you get in another troops choice. You'll have another scoring unit (you only have 2 so far) and will be able to run RoW. Or just run PotL and switch the Legion Terminators to the troops slot. Speaking about Terminators, they still feel unfocused and clunky IMHO. I'd specialise the unit one way or another, or maybe (even better) run two units, one build for assault / counter assault and one build for shooting. So, where does that lone Apothecary go anyways ? He can't join the Templar Brethren. And why the Combi Melta on him ? BLACK BLΠFLY
Yeah I could run PotL. I found the terminators are quite versatile with this build. Why can't the Apothecary join the TB ? Combi-Melta is for armor busting. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/321529-imperial-fists-2250/#findComment-4367911 Share on other sites
Slips
The Apothecary has a list of units it can join in LA:CAL (and notes for other squads it can join for newer book units) and Templar Brethren aren't one of them. BLACK BLΠFLY
If I run the AoD FOC with PotL can I take Sigs and two Centurions for my HQ ? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/321529-imperial-fists-2250/#findComment-4368112 Share on other sites
Slips
Yes. The AoD FoC has 3 HQ Slots. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/321529-imperial-fists-2250/#findComment-4368117 Share on other sites

Caillum
Sorry to say it, but your compulsory Troops need to be Veterans or Terminators in "Pride of the Legion". Kinda sucks, coz Templar Brethren are Troops with Sigismund, but they won't count as compulsory Troops in this Rite of War. I'd also swap your Cataphractii Terminators to Tartaros ones, as they'll then be able to Sweeping Advance. If you don't want to pay for the resin models, then save yourself a few points on the 2nd Primus Medicae by using Cataphractii - he won't be able to Sweep when in the unit anyway. Finally, like Unknown Legionnaire said, I'd try to focus said Terminator unit into a specific role: - if you want to Deep Strike, they want a lot of firepower, like 2 plasma blasters and 8 combi-plasmas. - if you want them in combat, lots of storm shields and a Spartan is the way to go. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/321529-imperial-fists-2250/#findComment-4368448 Share on other sites
BLACK BLΠFLY
I will split the squad of terminators into two units... One shooty and one smashy.
