Help a deviant out?

Welcome onboard Res Ipsa Loquitur!

I think I have a sector where your Bikers might be unleashed. The Hive Dockyards are full of filthy Eldar motojets... The Dark Prince will appreciate this.

By the way, Brothers, Session 14 will end by January 31st so we have three months to conquer as many sectors as we can.

Celtic_Cauldron

That's right.

Please note the following points:

- each unit must have a separate picture with the password;

- units cannot be more than primed.

Once your pictures are ready, you can post them in this thread. I will operate the transfer towards the Gilgamesh Forum.

Tactical report n°11:

General overview:

We're currently leading Session 14, with a bit more than 2300 points pledged, 730 already completed. The Alliance is some 680 behind us.

At sector level:

As forecasted the main loyalist assaults are on Fort Nox and the Governor's Palace but actions are more than likely in the Arbites' Strongholds and the Core Plasma Reactor. We countered the initial wave in Fort Nox by deploying Ferrum Infernus and Contemptor Dreadnoughts, yet the BA's attack in the Palace is still running without further resistance from our forces.

We surprised our enemies by launching a major push in the Bea Aquila's Chapel and bridging half of the gap between the Alliance and us. Further deployments are to be realized with some extra Iron Warriors' units plus Dark Mechanicus war machines. This will be done alongside multiple assaults in the Core Plasma Reactor, the Cathedral and in the Strongholds.

The purpose is to force the limited loyalist forces to divide their numbers among many sectors or abandon some areas. It's a 100% winning strategy as our purpose is to gain at least 75% of the remaining sectors.

Secondary assaults will be launched also in the Hive Dockyards in order to jeopardize the analysis performed by the Alliance's commanding echelon. This diversion will be huge (more than 1200 points) to give the impression that we're actually trying to conquer the sector.

Regarding the Lava River: some additionnal flyers (mostly Deamon Princes) will be deployed but we're likely to be short on this sector. So any reinforcement would be appreciated.

Brothers, things are moving and I decided to accelerate the pace in order to secure victory by the end of this session. This will let us with two last sessions to gain as many sectors as we can.

More than ever the Frater have their role to play to achieve this grand scheme and crush both the loyalist and Xenos fools!

Celtic_Cauldron

Sorry, have been away for a few days.

Those reinforcements are right on time!

Just a few questions to be sure:

- The first picture is your Fabius Bile, right?

- Is the third one a Techmancer?

Just need the answers for the sake of points.

Brave Doctor Fabius and the Dreadnought will be deployed to support our forces in the Cathedral. The Techmancer will add his knowledge of Warfare and Technology to our strengths in the Core Plasma Reactor. We need some points there: Eldars and Blood Angels seem to have decided to repell our soldiers.

Hunt well Brother and Glory to the Oath-Broken.

Celtic_Cauldron

Thanks Eldrick.

I'll update your post on the Gilgamesh Forum with those information.

I'll provide you with a tactical report by the end of this week: things are moving (on the right direction) but somme extra events might occur on some sectors... ^^

  • 2 weeks later...

Tactical report n°12:

General overview:

We increased our advantage dramatically and are now 3354 points ahead of the Alliance. We pledged 6399 points with 1474 points already completed... ^^ Session 14 should be ours and we have some opportunity to target some particular sectors.

At sector level:

The main objectives are unchanged.

Main evolutions do concern the Core Plasma Reactor and the Palace.

In the former did we increase our effort with some Legionaries. We're now 285 behind the Alliance which means that we're able to take this sector!

In the Palace we countered the BA's assault by teleporting a complete Cult of Destruction and a Terminator Detachment, plus some Plaguebearers. We gained the sector back and are now 1200 points ahead of our enemies.

We deployed a first Blood Thirster in the Lava River, just to prepare the two forecasted Deamon Princes. DAs and Eldars are not on a position to lock this sector anymore.

Brothers, things are moving nicely and I hope everyone will complete his units/vehicles so that we can achieve a complete and crushing victory.

More than ever the Frater have their role to play to achieve this grand scheme and crush both the loyalist and Xenos fools!

And with this I have finished all I wanted to do for Chaos this year. If people want to see more of my work, then check out my WIP threads… Though its mostly going to be Imperial until the ETL.

@Uveron: Brother, it is with great pride that I welcome this wonderful artillery.

Also, I take not that we'll have to wait til ETL VI before we can see any of your warriors. In my own name and in the name of the Chaos War Host on Gilgamesh I thank you for your help and support. Your minis are great and add much power to our assaults against both Imperial and Xenos.

I hope you'll join us next year. It'll be an honour to fight once more by your side.

May the Dark Gods be with you.

Celtic_Cauldron

@Eldrick: impressive minis Brother. I particularly appreciate the conversion job on the Warpsmith.

Just one thing about your Helbrute: could you base him so that it can be considered as completed, please? I forgot to mention that the rule regarding bases is different on Gilgamesh compared to ETL... Sorry for this.

Awesome work Uveron. Been lurking and following your thread for a while.

Also,

I've got a demon prince, a jumpack sorcerer lord with raptor bodyguard, 10 or so plague marines, a Land Raider, and 7 or 8 possessed primed and ready to paint. Do we have a strategic priority for any of those?

Well Brother...

First priority is for the Lava River: your Daemon Prince could go there, provided he has wings. If not, what I can propose you is the following order of priority for your units according to the Battle Plan (from most important to less important).

- Jumpack Sorcerer + Raptor Bodyguards: the Hive's Dockyards;

- DP (if without wings): the Arbites' Strongholds;

- Land Raider: the Arbites' Strongholds;

- Plague Marines: Fort Nox;

- Possessed: the Eldar Warp Gate.

Then we have to take into account your own priorities in order to find the best compromise. Therefore, tell me which of your units you wanna do first and I will adapt my Plan accordingly (I have margins, plan B...).

I find it a fair way to lead the War Host. ^^

Thanks again Brother!

Death to the False Emperor!

Celtic_Cauldron

@Eldrick: Awesome Brother!!

I will close those two subjects on your behalf. Note that your Techmancer received some comments especially about the axe...

@Uveron: Same as for Eldrick: your Minotaure raised true interest, even though most of my fellows didn't know the model.

I'll post a tactical update tonight.

Hunt well BRothers!!
