Aqui
Unit of the week I - Exorcist Unit of the week II - Imolator Unit of the week III - Repentia Unit of the Week IV - Battle Sister Squad (BSS) Unit of the Week V - The Penitent Engine Unit of the Week VI - The Canoness Unit of the Week VII - Ministorum Priests/Jacobus Unit of the Week VIII - Celestine Unit of the Week - IX - Seraphim Unit of the Week X - Retributor Sisters Squad (RSS) Unit of the Week XI - Sororitas Command Squad (SCS) Unit of the Week XII - The Repressor Unit of the Week XIII - Ecclesiarchy Battle Conclave (EBC) Unit of the Week XIV - Celestians Unit of the Week XV - Dominion squads And so to our penultimate week, where we focus on Sisters' Rhinos! Needless to say that this will feature in most players armies, but how do people load them out? Dozer Blade? Extra Armour, Missile Launcher? How do players use them? Again, the floor is open Sisters! Machine God
Just treat them gently and appease their Machine Spirits! Remember that you and the Adeptus Arbites are the few Non-Adeptus Astartes that are allowed to operate them! Edit: Remembered the LAW! Remember that you and the Adeptus Arbites are the few Non-Adeptus Astartes that are allowed to operate them! Edit: Remembered the LAW! And we are quite proud of our RH1N0s. If I'm really worried about a transport getting somewhere, I give it Extra Armour, so it can always move. And dozer blades are always nice if you think you'll be going somewhere in a hurry. Obviously, those 2 upgrades add almost 50% onto the Rhino's cost, so they tend to be the first thing to go when I'm strapped for points. Naminé
I love Rhinos. Cheap and cheerful, they help cover our biggest weakness: speed. Never forget the bonuses they add, as a tank they can bully units and force morale checks, their smoke launchers can help out in making defensive wall, their searchlights negate night fighting and you can pick off infantry at long range with the stormbolter. Best of all is the repair ability, which can make a previously forgotten Rhino a game-winning asset again. Dozer blades are always worth their points, whereas the only other upgrade I consider is an extra stormbolter if for some reason, I have 5 points leftover. You cannot go wrong with Rhinos! CaptainHelion
Cheap and cheerful! Dozerblade to avoid the altogether too common 1s on Dangerous Terrain, maybe stormbolters if you have spare points? I never find I do, though. Isolia
I always upgrade for smoke and dozer blades, because the models are made like that and I use these often (which is rarely given the amount I play :) ) They are also a good cover piece for other units that are on foot because I see them as expendable given their price. Smoke Launchers come free with every rhino/immolator in our current codex! Isolia
True, I just usually put them on every guard and sisters vehicle that can have them as a WYSIWYG , but then I did not remember that piece of detail :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/324709-unit-of-the-week-xvi-sororitas-rhino/#findComment-4470467 Share on other sites
Blackarmor_redtruth
Cheap, maybe dozer blades if I'm trying out some new players and not sure how they like to set up terrain, but in general just bare bones does it for me.
