Well I think that, a priori, you can use them, since I found nothing against it, no matter how I interpret the phrasing of the rules ,but a confirmation would be nice.

I'm trying to find an equivalent kind of rule or ability that is present for another army so as to compare, but my knowledge of other armies is limited. E.g., do tyranids still have instinctive behaviour ? Or some other bonus / restriction that normally applies to a unit ?

We do get AoF per model bc each model is a unit.

Tyranid Instinctive Behavior is also on a per-model basis, they check the synapse bubble for any models not in range and those models do instinctive behavior.

Cool!

Played a game of killteam. Sister superior with storm bolter, 2 dominions with meltas, two with framers and two with bolters and a multimedia immolator.

The I'm moratorium is nasty, as you pick a target and basically remove it from the board. Meltas, in general though, are really short range so it's harder to get as much out of them, but if you can get close...

It was brutal. We may not be "good" at 1850 pts but at 200, we're a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks for posting! smile.png Despite 200 pts being limiting in many ways, it's quite good in others, as it really forces you to concentrate on what you're fielding.

I remember Miko saying that on more than one occassion. She's definitely right from what I've read online smile.png

What's the consensus on priests and battle conclaves?

They say that you can take 0-5 priests in the army, right? So... Can we take them in a kill-team army?

The people I played against said "no, because they are in the HQ section of the Codex" *shrug*

Hi all :)

I am starting a hopefully long and wonderful journey with the ultimate shieldmaidens of the Imperium, by making a small Killteam. I have the digital codex as well as roughly 28 miniatures, amongst these a four seraphims, 2 flamers, 2 meltaguns, 2 heavy flamers and four heavy bolters and an unassembled Immolater.

I have read many of the former posts and there seems to be a consensus about grabbing a vehicle (the Immolater) with a small squad of girls in powerarmor, but in a game friendly zone, would that be overkill?

thanks in advance for your attention :)

Not at all.

I guarantee, even if you play friendly Kill Team games with a local group, you will encounter Land Speeders and Dreadnoughts ... jetbikes and Raiders... truks and stealthsuits... and whathaveyou.

Immolate away, says I.

Kind of an off question, but I've been reading everywhere that kill team does not allow anything with 2+ armor in the new rules....but battlescribe with the new rules data says terminators for grey knights are A-OK. Is uh..that just wrong or something? Maybe a Grey Knight exception?

Back on topic, I might be in a kill team tournament coming up at the end of the month. If we can convince the local games shop to do that instead of a 750 point tournament. Having won only 2 games in 5ish months, I feel like this is my chance as the only sisters player around to conquer!
I was mostly thinking of taking seraphim for their re-roll 6+ invuln and sheer firepower/movement advantage. The rest of the group is gonna be a tossup. Still working on it all...especially since I'm hearing here and there from the others about what they might be bringing. The real issue is going to be the guy bringing a 5 man TWC squad. He might be the exception I bring a solid team of only Wulfen against to counter that douchery. My other thought was some people might require some grey knights I've converted to look like a part of my girls.

I think you need to pick 1 codex (faction, technically).

Seraphim  are nice for their mobility. I think I'd like to have a transport of some kind too. I played a game with 5 seraphim and a BSS in a rhino and won (granted, it was against a kroot kill team, but still)

I planned on only picking one. I have females in terminator gear to make the Greys fit into my army's theme. I just find it weird that battlescribe allows terminators as an option under the new HoR rules. I do know that they are only 2+/5++ though.

Also a transport is nice, but it eats a lot of points. you could easily have two more girls to take on enemies rather than one rhino.

I just find vehicles more survivable in kill team than 2 models (even in power armour), and they can get you sisters quickly and safely into range

HoR is a different system with its own rules, it allows TDA and artificer armour for some armies. No 2+ saves in GW kill team rules. There should be a GW kill team detachment option in Battlescribe now. I know ive seen it since I last updated.

I thought the HoR stuff was the new GW rules. Huh.Well I guess I'll just go by the kill team detachment rules then
