WIP today

 

 I've been tinkering away at my Heldrake over the last week, it's not really in any state to be shown off yet, although I have 2 days off now.

 

 I have however finished the scenic base for it which i'm pretty happy with.

Thank you all, it's always nice to return to kind words.

 

 It's certainly felt like a long few weeks trying to get the Heldrake finished, but finally it's done, overall there are things i'd have done very differently, it's not a golden demon winner, but it will sit nicely in my army.  Painting this has been an interesting exercise, not only in painting large miniatures, I actually used sub-assemblies, something I never do, but I also discovered photographing them is a pain as well.

 

 But on to the toy soldiers!

Awesome paint job on the Heldrake. I've had one for a while that I just can't bring myself to paint, I know that trim is going to drive me insane.
