Hey everyone! I have some IHs Mark 3 laying around here and decited to Start a small force of traitor IHs (I know, I know) I read about a story in the 40k wiki how about a company sized force of IHs with the serpant eye was fighting along the SoHs, I allways loved the IHs but i just don't like the loyalists. I would like to have your take on the "Outcast Sons" Rite of war. I mainly focuse on fluff so it does not have to be the most effektive Army but still I don't want to loose all the time. I thought of a small force something like:

A Termi warsmith

+ HQ squad

2x20 Tacs

10 Seeker

10 Gorons

And maybe a lethaiethan Dreadnought.

Have you some advice on how to do a Traitor IH force or have you played with this RoW already?

Let me know what you guys think. And sorry for Bering short with the army list, I'm Sitting in the Train and it's just a conzept at this point.

Thank you all for reading and have a nice day :)

Firstly, let me say that Outcast Sons is by far less useful than Orphans of Betrayal, but this isn't of the essence here since you want to run IH traitors and not a traitor-come-loyalist legion. So far, so good.

The RoW ability to re-roll sweeping advance doesn't stack very well with the IH unwillingness to do so. Something to be kept in mind.

I wouldn't footslog your scoring infantry units.

Same for Gorgons. Ten Gorgons is seriously expensive, especially when they slog over the battlefield really slow and have no means to deliever them into the thick of fighting.

... a Warsmith ? Are we talking about IH or IW here ?

Also, it'd be helpful to know the points limit of the force we're talking about.

Okay thank you for responding. :)

I thought something like 1500 to 2000. I already have some ECs in Rhinos so I wanted to try something else with IHs.

The Idea was to be able to use then as Traitors on there own aswell as shatterd Legions in Kombination with my ECs.

PS: Iron-Father is what i wanted to say :)
